Afolabi is hanging tough, throwing light counter backhanded jabs up into Ramírez's face, pestering him even while absorbing monster shots. Ramírez is keeping up an insane work rate.

Ramírez is hit low. Afolabi is cautioned sternly but looks incredulous. Ramírez is rolling around on the canvas. The ref says "five minutes!". Instant replay. Yeah, that was a clear right uppercut on the nuts. Flagrant, whether intentional or not. Afolabi wasn't even near the belt line, several inches below it. Ramírez is ready to go. The ref advises the judges to deduct two points from Afolabi. WOW! Time in. Ramírez is still looking worse for wear from the low blow and may have returned to action too soon on the basis of machismo. Ramírez is throwing very light jabs and backing away, hopping in place, fixing his trunks. Afolabi is jabbing his way in, hitting leather. Ramírez is sitting on the middle rope, springing up with a counter hook. Afolabi does his jelly-boned routine, leaning to either side and soaking up punches while loosely tossing out jabs and uppercuts. Ramírez circles left and lands a stiff jab, then pushes his left forearm up into Afolabi's face.

Afolabi may have thrown it by accident but it was a foul, and flagrant, and not the first time (and the ref had warned him to keep 'em up)

I'm okay with the double point deduction in that instance.

Afolabi needed a KO anyway.
