Worst part about Vitali's title run was his misdiagnosed back injury which was first called a hamstring pull, TWICE, before MRI's were finally done, and the L5/S1 protrusion was confirmed. :-(

Sad that in this day and age, a pro fighter can't even get competent medical treatment. A few visits to the chiropractor and a 3 fight deal with DKP, and Vitali couldv'e reeled off KOs against prime Rahman, semiprime Ruiz, and likely been the first and only to beat and stop Valuev.
