old foreman vs new foreman...

    which version of foreman was the better? a young in shape hungry foreman or the foreman that ate cheeseburgers before his comeback?

    Young Foreman and its not close. Limited guys who couldnt box a lick couldnt outbox George during his prime.

    Imagine what young foreman would have done to Holyfield and Moorer.

    1973/74 Foreman would have beaten the best 'comeback' Foreman of 1991 in five rounds or so.

    Tough call. The young Foreman was a vicious puncher with brutal power, but little stamina and seemed to have a huge chip on his shoulder.

    Older Foreman was more at ease and relaxed in the ring, still possessed good power and because he was relaxed, he seemed to do better in later rounds.

    Kind of a toss up for me but I will lean to the older version just for personality. And by older, I mean age wise.
