Like the beating Morrison gave him but worse, Tyson would not turn and run, he was faster than Morrison with an even better left hook and had it in both hands, his come in/clinch/reset pattern would put him at far less risk of toe to toe exchanges where Holyfield got rocked by Foreman, Foreman lasts longer than Holmes that's for sure, but it does not go the distance

    88 Tyson KO/TKO in 7 or 8

The only elite fighter old Foreman beat was Moorer, and he was a bit lucky to do that imo. Very overated for whatever reason.

George Foreman would tie up Tyson and push him out of range like he did against Joe Frazier. Mike was always vulnerable to being tied up even in his prime. George was adept at mixing jabs and uppercuts with shots to the body, Tyson will have to go on the backfoot to avoid being hit too much and I’ve never seen him do that in any of his fights.

I think 87-88 Tyson is the only one who could find a way to get around Foreman's pushing/roughhouse tactics due to his hand speed and defense. He can get in and out, weaving under Foreman's heavy jab and ducking past his big punches to target the body or throw shots to Foreman's head. So long as he's careful and fights smart, he could win. But if he gets too comfortable staying in one spot too long, is lax on defense, or tries to brawl, he is going to get badly hurt.

Prime Tyson vs. Young George - Tyson by early knockout

Prime Tyson vs. Old George - George by late stoppage.

Young George would stand and trade, and didn't seem to have the chin old George did. Tyson vs Old George would gas himself out and get pounded in the later rounds.

Comeback Foreman gets stopped, the difference in speed of han d and foot is mind boggling

Comeback Foreman avoided ANY durable Big Puncher .

Comeback was used as a Heavybag vs average hitting Holyfield

Comeback Foreman did beat a feeble minded glass chinned Ex Light Heavy after almost loosing every round til he landed in the 11th hour.

Comeback Foreman got clowned by the definition of Glass in Tommy Chin.

Comeback Foreman could not stop Glass cannons /Journeyman Stewart/Saverese/Schulz./Grimsley..................two out of the four got waxed by a washed up Tyson in seconds.

Comeback Foreman got stripped because he did not want top face the Ghost of Tony Tucker or rematch Palooka Schulz.

If you like Comback Foreman you dont want him to face Tyson because he would take a Monster beating.

Lat but not least...............Prime Tyson does not loose to Grandpa fighters...................Prime Foreman does not loose to Grandpa fighters, full stop.

if young George stood and traded with any version of Tyson there is only one outcome. And that is Tyson leaving on a gurney.

Up until he went into prison, I'm confident that Tyson would have stopped Foreman. Post-prison is a 50-50 fight. I still lean towards Tyson, but certainly would not have been shocked to see Foreman win it. With each passing year, despite being the older one, Foreman's chances actually went up. It would have been an entertaining fight.

He said "Not gonna give exact years but Prime Tyson vs Prime (second coming) Foreman"

So i think the Foreman you mentioned (Holyfield fight) vs the Tyson that beat Michael Spinks is the matchup to go for.

So Tyson (Spinks fight) Vs. Foreman (Holyfield fight)...
IMO the bottom line is whether Tyson would be able to knock out Foreman.
If Tyson fails to knock out Foreman halfway through the fight, it will be very interesting to see what happens in rounds 7-12.
1988, Tyson's longest fight was Holmes until the fourth round, when he was knocked out for the only time in his career.
As far as I know, Tyson has never in his career turned a losing fight to his advantage.
At least Tyson did that in the closing rounds.
Tyson has never done this in his career:

Prime Tyson beats any version of old Foreman.

95-96 Tyson beats any version of old Foreman.

The most interesting fight would be Tyson who fought Golota vs Foreman who fought Holyfield. I think George would be a victor in that.

Prime Foreman beats prime Tyson as bad as he did Frazier.

he lost 4 rounds to Botha to knock him out hard in 5, he lost 7 rounds to Douglas to knock him out within 14 seconds. But I know what you mean. Tyson was used to late triumphs.
Foreman could have had a real meeting with Tyson for about a year
    1987-1991 and 1995-1997.
1987- 1989 Tyson wins easily, even in 1989.
1990 form Douglas would have problems but he would never underestimate Foreman like that. So still Tyson. But after the fight with Douglas, Tyson's mentality dropped significantly and I think he might feel too much respect. If Foreman had gone to MT instead of Tillman, I think he would have won, instead of Stewart and Ruddock, he would have lost after a good fight on points.

1995 - Foreman, Tyson loses rust and lacks confidence.
    1996 Tyson
1997 Tyson loses confidence again after the fight with Holy, but George is fighting Grimsley at the same time and is not convincing, I have to bet on Tyson again
