92 Foreman stands a decent chance, but it's not a giben he wins. His main issue is he's still slow, like he always was.
Old Foreman wasn't consistently fighting and beating men in the top ten. He beat one, and he needed a come from behind punch to do it.
I think a fair number of observers have been questioning the reality of Joshua's level - the hype around him notwithstanding - ever since he got beaten up by an unranked Ruiz Jr.
Foreman only beat one ranked fighter in his comeback, and it was Moorer. The hype around his comeback is based on talking up every guy he fought, win or lose, and treating the Holyfield fight like he almost won and that Holyfield didn’t fight down to the level of opponents. And an old ass Wlad would’ve smoked Michael Moorer.
Do you think his rematch victory over Ruiz and win over Pulev, both coupled with this most recent loss, do anything to mitigate such questioning?
Whaaaa? usyk outpoints Foreman due to his skills & what George had lost, what speed-& with it ring cutting ability-that he had. But he does not have what Foreman had. Different skill set. A boxer style, Foreman a classic slugger. Foreman much stronger & harder hitting. Nobody came close to stopping old George. Even when absorbing tons of blows, Holyfied, Moore, Stewart, even when facing a huge hitter who ran from him Morrison-even when nearly 49 against a big first round KO artist. How on earth does Usyk do so?
Very respectable but Ruiz was a fat slob and Pulev an older guy hanging around for a pay day,I'd take George ,better chin, more savvy. He will land on AJ at some point and that will be the beginning of the end, even when old George was an excellent finisher.
Agreed. Foreman was of a superior pedigree to Joshua. I certainly think early comeback Foreman is a shoo-in to win by stoppage and probably early.
