I fancy Tua to wear Foreman out, down the stretch. Similar fighters except for that one is much much younger.

This fight would’ve happened if George actually wanted it.

I see your reasoning but,I'm minded that after sampling a couple of his right hands Tua basically shut up shop, lost ambition ,and settled for survival against Lennox Lewis.

George was old and slow ,but he could still bang with the best of them, and Tua would have to come in to be effective.I would not be surprised if the Big Man pulled a win off here.

Similar? Foreman still had an excellent jab and about 5 inches of height onTua,and while Tua's right was underated, he didn't have the two handed power Foreman possessed.imo

When you walk into Foreman you increase the impact of his power if you get hit. . So in his fight Tua's aggressiveness would be to his detriment.

I fancy Foreman of the Holyfield or around that time. He still has some of the cat in that aged body, and I just don't see many fighters beating George on the front foot at that time. Too much power, too much of a granite jaw, and too strong control game.

Tua by decision. Don't see George hurting him, but he does enough to get the verdict.

    Two questions.

    1. Why would he?
    2. Why should he?

Tua in his prime maintained his devastating power in the later rounds and could throw an incredible amount of punches. Not to mention he had a granite chin. I don't see this turning out well for ol' George.

Tua by decision with Foreman's face looking more grotesque than it did in the Stewart fight.

Neither with a serie of 10/15 tough blows landed on George's skull by Tuaminator he would go down. A serie of 20 consecutive clear punches by Holy was not enough to drop him. Too big, heavy and chinned for both.

    However Tua by SD imo

He loved to hand pick his opponents and talked about this one, but never came close to trying to make it happen.

If Stewart could turn Foreman to a swollen mess, Tua would stop him.

OK, but before Foreman was champion he was under no obligation to fight Tua, and when Tua was champion, he had to establish himself as the challenger.
If history teaches us one lesson it is this.

If you are a contender that everybody is deathly afraid of, then your credentials as a challenger had better stack up.

If they don't, then the champion can not only avoid you, but look principled doing it!
