Ok for example the great sugar ray leonard went up to light heavy and beat donnie lalonde if he were in his peak now do u think there are any light heavys of today that could beat him that would be too big and strong?

And any others you can think of like the quality Don Curry was at welter at his peak are there any middles of today you think could beat him
i personally think Pavlik would hit too hard for him and jermain taylor would be good enough to take advantage of the size difference and maybe abraham.

i cant think of any light heavys that would do a bulked up peak leonard

I know I might get some flack for this, but I think the 03-04 version of Tarver might get to his chin and possibly hurt him, alot people underestimate Tarver, but the guy does have serious power, and can give alot of top guys some trouble in the ring, if he's a 100%.

that isnt a bad point cause i really rated tarver when he was at top flight but i feel leonard would get through them long arms and hit to body and head and win a UD

Dawson would handle him, Calzaghe would handle him at 168. Leonard was by no means the same fighter and by no means at his peak when he faced LaLonde, LaLonde just wasn't particularly a very good champ, and he dropped Leonard at one point. Leonard's best was south of MW, and there's a few that could beat him above it.

Thats fair, I think it would of been a 50/50 in my eyes, where it could go either way, leonard by decision or Tarver by knockout.

Im talking about if srl was at his peak or near to it and bulked up he would probably only weigh about 161 but that is enough for him to beat any super middle

There's no doubt Leonard will always be capable of piling up the points because he's a beautiful boxer but Tarver's way too big for leonard. My verdict on this is same with punisher. Either Tarver pounds leonard to a KO or Leonard outboxing Tarver enroute to a UD
