Your gay little jokes are not funny you're a sad FLOP MATE

You spent Christmas Day alone wishing you had a time machine to go back to after Julian Jackson knocked you out so you could watch calzaghe banging your wife forever

Your a wimp and a cuckold and without calzaghe to watch you FLOP MATE

Stevenson is also pushing 40 years old and was a natural MW himself.

How did you score the LaStarza fight?

You think Stevenson beats him. That's what I'm debating with you.

There is a general trend of HW boxing evolving over time. It's not a linear progression, there are periods when the division goes backwards (e.g. 50s, 80s, early 00s) but there is an undeniable trend of fighters getting larger and more athletic over time. It really was only in about the last two decades where we've seen the emergence of the big, skilled SHW. If you transported guys like Sullivan, Jackson, Corbett, Fitzsimmons, Burns etc to today's HW era I don't think they wouldn't do very well. A guy like Marciano as tough and skilled as he was would have a much harder time now then he did in his own era. The change to 12 rounds also benefits the bigger fighter.

Stupid post AGAIN ....50's fighter planes were BETTER than MODERN ones NOW . The world war 2 would be over quickly with the high tech JETS we have now ,how dumb can you get ??? I guess were going to reverse technology and use INFERIOR weapons all together lets bring back the TOMMY GUN as well.....lol

True. But then look at guy like Chisora who's has decent success (should have won fight vs Finish guy), pushed Vitali well. and he's Basically a terrible version of Joe Frazier. Imagine Frazier with modern PEDS + nutrition.

Or maybe they would then be average ? I didnt see Marciano pulvervise La Starza that ANY top modern or average 230 guy would ? I didnt see Louis defeat 170 pound Conn so easy, who would that guy beat ? You are REINVENTING the fighters ,Louis would be 220 and a heavier Marciano would be even slower ,bc he wasnt fast to begin with, and BOTH would have to alter style with the increased mass so you dont know since both were also floored (specially ) Louis by far weaker punchers than todays SHW's .

They're not bums, Marciano wasn't 'pathetic' and Louis wouldn't be knocked out by anyone with a punch. Stop posting mindless trash.

no doubt it can but sheer size has it advantages.
steve cunningham v tyson fury a prime example.
cunningham at 6.3 and 210 used his speed of feet and hand to frustrate the much bigger man

in reply fury instead of using abilty used his size.
he simply used his weight and strength and virtually tossed cunningham 5 feet across the ring into the ropes and while cunningham was trying to get his balance from being manhandled /fury clumped him with a right hand and kod him for the only time in his career.

not much cunningham could do about this .

Modern heavyweights are bigger, stronger, have longer reaches, and hit harder than past heavyweights.

I would love to see Jack Dempsey juicied to the gills and on hGH. He would likely be 215-220 and still have savage power and speed.

Say we went back in time and gave the Allied the weapons and jets we have now. The Axis powers wouldn't stand a chance.
