actually, those are accurate words coming from someone with "philly" referring to the boxing stance (the philly shell, like james toney, pbf (sometimes), and joe frazier used). but hey, i guess you don't need to make a point, do you?
Philly, don't be so sensitive, brother. I was not being serious. The last thing you will see me do on this board is take a serious shot at somebody.
When people say that Winky was above his natural weight....how come they never say "but so isnt Bernard"?
that may be, but the fact is that some people have the ability to move up in weight and some just don't. winky can't, apparently. (a much, much more dramatic example of what you said is what people said after the pbf-hatton fight "pbf won against a natural junior welterweight", and completely ignore the fact that welterweight is not at all floyd's natural weight.)
That was good. And thanks for the explanation on the Philly Shell. I have heard that term before, but didn't place it when I read your user name.
Only very early on in his career. Why do you seem so hell bent on getting stuck into Hopkins tonight?
I don't I am just putting my point across and for the record I like bernard hopkins, but come on his bull**** his becoming boring.
I see you're in one of your boring moods tonight. People make mistakes, I know I've made plenty, he served his time & redeemed himself. We don't all live sheltered lives in sleepy Welsh towns.
