Cotto and Kessler are probably superior physical specimins to Shane and Calzaghe at this time. Though people maintain Mosley has a speed advantage over Cotto.

Last week we saw Calzaghe simply outskill Kessler.

Kessler and Cotto have similar undefeated record, though Cotto was hurt at a lower level a few times, whereas Kessler was never troubled at all. But they are more or less a similar standard of opponents.

Cotto will win. Mosley has not got Joe Calzaghe's boxing skills.

The manner in which Mosley looses will put into perspective for you all just how much better Joe Calzaghe is and was compared to theso called elite fighters from America. I hope you realise just how special Calzaghe is to be winning at such an advanced age and that he is right up there will Ali, at the very least.

Just think about it all objectively. Please.

    Thanks

Sugar Shane is still at 35 the superior when it comes to the physical part.

Objectively, CHJ, your thread is all about maniac devoutness and comparative efforts to find disimilarities in very similar situations and persons and thereby, to support your biased and unhealthy view on boxing around the world. Shane using superior skill and his experience to overcome Cotto's strength and youth has everything to do with Calzaghe and Kessler, the most striking difference being that Cotto is a much more dangerous fighter than Kessler... Let me tell you more, I admit that Calzaghe is one of the better fighters at the moment but who was he before the Lacy fight, compared to Shane, ask yourself this question. I consider you a member who is not interested in this fight and so no one has to descredit your theories or the opposite of that, the theories live inside your own mind and only just, consider this an act of benevolence and good-will so that we come to future understandings. Congratulations for the Calzaghe win, btw.

With 50 firmly in the rear-view mirror, I must admit I got a certain amount of satisfaction seeing old Joe beat Mikkel! ;)
It's simply a beautiful thing to watch....old age & treachery vs youth and vigor.

I hope you realize how special some Calzaghe fans are, and at such an advanced age too. Boxing psychics they are.

Joe's stock has really risen thanks to Lacy and Kessler. I remember not so long ago most people picked Glen Johnson to beat him.
