Old MW fighters better off at 154/168?

    He's in the top 10 for good reason. His career was tragically cut short at 24 and was well on his way to becoming top 3 at middleweight.

    Why? His best wins are an old O'Brian and Billy Papke (who isn't top 20 at MW) who he lost to. After that his record is very thin, losing to Langford and should've lost to Klaus.

    The guy is very overrated, and the 'about to become a top 3 MW' thing is wrong. He was fading badly by the time he died, anyway.

    Against Langford Ketchell was outweighed by a guy considered amount the best P4P ever, and the fight was considered inconclusive and basically a draw. Seems weird to hold that against Ketchell, seems praiseworthy if anything.

    Gavilan didn`t have welter power, he probably could have been over-power by bigger guys at 154.

    I think Hearns was unbeatable at 154 and has the best win at that weight against Benitez.
