You have to take boxing heights with a grain of salt. Most fighters have exaggerated height listings, since the only thing that has to be measured is weight. Promoters tend to get creative with their heights.

Tyson Fury is a perfect example. Early in his career he was 6’7”, but as his public exposure increased so did his height listing.

At a towering 6ft 7ins, the Manchester based heavyweight is certainly attracting a lot of attention on this side of the pond.

He’s a giant of a man, has a Hollywood name and is unbeaten in the paid ranks, with all five victories coming inside the distance. It’s no surprise people are sitting up and taking notice of him. Mick Hennessy, Fury’s promoter, has been cranking the hype machine up to full speed in his effort to make him well known, but the question remains, can he actually fight?”

Also, Witherspoon is 6’2” not 6’4”. I’ve met Witherspoon plenty of times, since him and James Toney used to frequent the McDonalds in Hollywood off of Hollywood and Highland.m

The 6-2 Witherspoon, who weighed 224, outjabbed Gonzalez in the fourth round and also scored well to the body.

In the fifth, Witherspoon hurt Gonzalez, 30, with a right uppercut with a minute left. That punch forced Gonzalez into a corner, where Witherspoon scored with a barrage of head punches, including the last eight right hands.

Oh the two fights where two cruiserweights decided not to cut weight? The bouts between two career cruiserweights that did nearly 2M PPV buys over the course of two bouts?

    Those fights?

Yeah they didn't get much financial backing.

Here we go again, this is Ali next to 6 ft 3 Bruno bigger than himhttps://images.app.goo.gl/Bt2ipLMabCrwqeC66 this is Bruno next to supposed 6ft4 https://images.app.goo.gl/pYrz7kLoZzs3B2ce8whyte which means either Ali is nearer 6ft 4 than 6ft 3, or whyte is more 6ft 2 than 6 ft 4, or at best just topping 6ft 3, which means whyte who is in the top 5 heavies today is just a smaller fatter less skilled version of Buster Mathis, who was a genuine 6ft 3 260 pounder who carried the weight better.

Congratulations you showed me a close amatuer fight where a guy (blue) who is clearly a couple inches shorter, with shorter arms and a smaller frame consistently got inside and did work without too much of a problem.

If it is you, I'm not knocking you, you're alright, but I don't think it did much to prove your point.

Also it's a bit suspect that it took you that long when you could've just typed your own name into YouTube?

dude i said i am the one in the red. I was 16 and my opponent was 17 we were like young kids. You cannot compare little midgets with poor technique too guys that are seasoned amateurs or pros and know how to use every inch of their arm lenght.

it took me so long cause this was my opponents channel and it took me half an hour to remember his name. I knew that he was uploading his fights, which i never did.

Willard was a totally unskilled bum who didn't put a pair of gloves on until he was 27 years old which in that era was like 37 today, that fight proved nothing

He has the same amount of wins against ATGs that Tyson Fury has?
You could for sure make the argunent that his win against JJ is a greater win than Fury vs Klitschko.

I think it probably was equal in greatness.

Can you be an unskilled bum beat an ATG?

You (and a lot of others) need to rewatch the first Frazier - Foreman fight. George did not "stand stock still" in the center of the ring, nor was Foreman "slow" in that fight. Foreman constantly turned Frazier, stepping to the side, both to the left and the right. Only after hurting Frazier did Foreman stop turning to the side (Foreman did this again at the start of the second round). Foreman hand speed was actually good in this fight.
