Old School Training Log

    I'll make this short and sweet. I'm 37 and from Texas. Here are my weigh-in numbers today:

    - Height: 6'2"
    - Weight: 198 lbs
    - Waist: 33.5"
    - Body Fat %: ~13%
    - Lean Body Mass: 172.59 lbs

    I'm not a competitor. I use boxing training to keep me in shape. I'm here to improve myself and learn from you all. I would like to eventually find a good boxing gym one day.

    Right now, I need to get myself into shape before stepping into any kind of gym. I tend to favor old school boxers and their training methods. I'm open to any comments or suggestions so feel free to shoot me a line sometime.

    Here's what I've done today:

    - 2 miles roadwork
    - 100 pushups (4 sets of 25)
    - Max situps (4 sets of max number I can do -- came out to 160)

    - Max situps (4 sets of max number I can do -- came out to 180)
    - Worked on jab, straight, stance, and footwork throughout the day

    Here's my workout for today:

    - 2 miles roadwork
    - Shadowboxing, 9 x 2 min rounds (using Bas Rutten's MMA Boxing CD)

    Here's what I've done today:

    - 2 miles roadwork
    - Squats: 50, 40, 30
    - Lunges: 50 each leg
    - Standing Calf Raises: 50, 50, 50
    - Wall Sit (back against a wall, legs at 90 degrees) 30 sec, 30 sec, 30 sec
