:think Ok, who's arguing?:huh So you are saying that the almost 2500 hits this thread has received, are all just trolling:patsch
"Nobody is going to find any good information from this thread, it's entirely a troll thread from beginning to end.":verysad
I am just making a statement, as the title of this thread states. I, like you, have an opinion and I express it. I know what the yappers are doing and to tell you the truth, I dont like bully's. You yappers come on here and hiding behind a keyboard, call people ****s, ******s etc, if they disagree or the yappers leap on something that they can **** on.
Stop trolling with me cos I will always have something to say. Leave people alone they're looking for some advice from fellow boxing people, coaches, fighters, and I am willing to share whatever knowledge and experience I may have. Anything good for boxing is good for everybody. FYI, just so that you know, I have had personal dealings with Ariza, and I think he is a S&C guy gone wild. So with all due respect yappers need to stop pissing on people's responses, cos its silly and childish. :bbb

Look I love this stuff, yappers are not the brightest people out there, they actually think they are scoring points:lol:

    You calling people childish

You're free to state an opinion, just know we're free to challenge and question it which yours has been as it makes no sense. S+C guys are not a requirement but they can be an asset if they do a good job. Everyone agrees with this, you seem to oppose this view even though you agree with it in a few posts... :huh Hence the reason this is still going. You make no sense whatsoever.

Why do keep on bringing up the same guy? Give me a list of the vast number of strength and conditioning coaches that you've had contact with that have degraded a boxer's performance.

You're meant to manage a boxer? I feel sorry for the guy if this is the way you conduct yourself. Would you allow this boxer of yours to have a strength and conditioning coach?

I guess you may have been following this thread, if someone is trolling, and just making comments to **** people off which for the most part this is what is happening. Yappers love it when you respond to their yapping, if someone answers their comments they in their feeblemindedness think, "Oh, boy we got this guy now.
If you are what you say you are then maybe you should be asking, if this statement is true or not and you state your point, but yappers come on calling people ****s and such. Believe me when I say this, I will discuss this and anything else pertaining to boxing. To the yappers even that I am answering their posts is a victory. I dont care, I will make my point or its cartoon time.

So far you've said a strength and conditioning coach isn't a requirement... everyone agrees. And your point is...?

"So far you've said a strength and conditioning coach isn't a requirement." That is my point and I agree with the statement "Old school training routines seem to be the simplest and most effective!"
I believe that is also my point. Now what!? Now that we agree that is my point that should be enough but knowing the yap pack they will be looking for something to **** on.
Maybe you havent caught on I love this, going back n forth with yappers.:happy:good:hi:

No, I wouldn't use an S&C guy, had one, and was toally underwhelmed by what they could do. In fact that is why I originally registered on this forum. My point and my first thread on this forum I believe was "Are S&C guys neccessay?". And I am sure you trolled that thread and all my yapper fans followed me on this thread and still arguing that point. So **** on. Now that you asked me what my point was, just what is your point? Hmmm.......:think

Two future HOF'rs, and trainer of the year recipients, who have trained and are training p4p's fighters have come out against S&C guys. Here is what Freddie Roach, had to say about S&C guys, "I think if we got rid of all the strength and conditioning coaches in the world, they're all way overrated and bull****, if we got rid of every one of them, we'd have no drugs in boxing." Andre Ward's trainer feels the same.

Both Freddy and Virgil Hunter are old school, they came from and learned old school routines and ways. Freddy as many of the old school trainers did and still do, are always on the lookout for better and more efficient ways to aid in their training regiment. So, as Freddy has done in the past and will do in the future, especially with his stable of fighters, he will work with an S&C guy comes in handy taking a load off Freddy's shoulders. If you saw that reality show on Freddie, believe me he doesn't get up early for everybody. S&C guys are very useful when you have a lazy fighter, who loves cake, ice cream candy and whatever fatty foods they can get their hands on, well a good trainer then brings in an S&C guy to work his magic. Or maybe you have a guy like Nonito, who is moving up in weight who needs to work on his strength and weight. Or if you have an old guy like JMM, who can use all the help he can get. Yes, Old school training routines seem to be the simplest and most effective, but sometimes you need the help and if has to do with conditioning the S&C guys can come to the rescue.

I really dont care what they have to say about that matter. If they would talk about boxing technique, boxing tactics, mental preparation, boxing history etc etc i am all ears.
But when it comes to S&C,anatomy, biomechanics, nutrition i couldnt give a flying **** what they say cause they dont **** about it.:good
