He's a boxing manager. Clearly he knows more on the subject of strength and conditioning than us guys working in the industry.

Yeah. To be fair he did have a bad experience with a S+C coach. I once met a black guy who molests animals and I didn't like him, therefore I hate all black people and I know that they all molest animals. You're not going to change my mind, don't use your big words to try and confuse me. I'm just seeing if you all agree with me, I'm not budging on the subject and for you to suggest I should change my mind is just pure arrogance on your part. I'm not qualified on the matter at all beyond my solitary personal experience but I'm right and you're just an arrogant brainiac. Oh I almost forgot..

Aha take that with ya brainiac!!

The thing is he doesnt admit he is wrong and then tries to explain something and then it comes out like this:Weight training to me means training with weights, and training with weights can make you musclebound.
I came on esb and my first thread was ****ing awful,i blamed my coach on many things and bla bla bla,and everybody dissed the **** out of me which i deserved cause i was reall ****ing crybaby and a ****, and i made a mistake with one of the nutrition threads. But you say yea IM WRONG and try to learn new stuff, this guy,he is un****ingbelievable.Sarcasm, generalisation, emoticons,no way im wrong attitude.Dempsey you should apply to those chinchekers/elite bull****.They would welcome you in their team :lol:

You don't need weights. Bodyweight training is superior. No weights...

    Bitches...

I can see both sides here , really enjoying it. Had a visitor Monday, stayed all afternoon. Talked on something that had connections with this Thread, what He said relates to it. Physios and Sports Conditioning Guys, through His experience are programed not to think outside the Box, they are taught what to think. Then again lots of coaches cant Think period. Also 99/9% think they know, 00001% Do

They're taught tried and true principles that have been shown to have success. There's always variations and differences in personal philosophies, research isn't complete and there are always differences between individuals and how they respond to certain things. The difference is an S+C guy is starting at 85% and a typical boxing coach is starting at 10%. Nobody knows, it's just educated guessing and boxing coaches don't have much education. It's not a two-sided argument, a boxing coach is a boxing coach and an S+C coach is an S+C coach. They are two different things and they should be doing two different jobs while working together on the same project. There's nothing to talk about here.

Well if your argument is that a boxing coach somehow knows more about the human body than someone who specialises in it does then that is a bit of a stretch wouldn't you say? I'm not going to be able to be open minded about a boxing coach understanding more about the nervous system than a neuroscientist either. Guess I'm not open-minded then.
    Get real buddy.

Personally, I'd rather get my information from a 70 year old former inmate that has full function of his body and is extremelly strong, especially for his age, than an S & C guy who would be the first guy to get anally penetrated without his joint dehabilitating weights.
