I like Wlad in this one but remember, folks, anything can happen at heavyweight. Anything.

so many examples of this. but balance of probabiliteis: it's all wlad. in the end, wlad SHOULD take this and frank, most guess to the contrary and pure guesses and bull****

I'd like to see Haye fight the fight of his life, & win this, then go for unification with Vitaly :D

That is true, but I doubt this is going to be the typical preparation for Wlad. Haye isn't some boring mandatory to prepare for. This is a title unification match, and history will judge the winner favorably.

Not sure if Haye is 6'3". He looks a bit shorter than that next to Wlad in the picutres. Wlad is listed at 6'6".

Why would it not be the typical preparation ?

As far as I can tell, Wladimir prepares impeccably, at 100%, for every fight.

For me thats the sensible way to fight a much bigger man & thats to get him moving around & keep circling him & using multiple feints too get some angles an opening no matter how small so as to be able to get in & out.

As we know wlad is now ultra cautious about protecting his chin & it's not going to be an easy job for anyone to somehow find a way in under wlad reach (Whose always going backwards anyway) & do the neccessary damge in being able to unload combo's thus splintering Wlad's defence but if anyone one can do it it's def David Haye who is without doubt the most athletic opponant that Wlads ever faced. Wlad knows he's can't give haye a single opening as once haye's inside he'll unload on him like a demon & thats going to have Wlad all over the place.

As long as it's looks as if Haye's the one attempting the assaults by manuver & feinting hopefully that ought to get him the rounds as i just can't see Wlad doing anything different than he's done in the past. He'll grab Haye at every opportunity. This will come down to either Haye being caught on his way in or once he's breached Wlad's defence he'll unload like a madman just as sanders did & that'll have Wlad flaying around like a drowning man. Easier said than done of course. But it's going to be the one of only 2 ways in the fight. If anything the initiative lies with Haye who has all the tools too do the job. Once in & side to side letting them fly. Lets hope so!!

Way to ruin a good thread :nut

This is what we are up against here from Wladhuggers :patsch

Fighting scared best sums up Wlad, he does it every fight even against bums, yet you are using it to describe Haye of all people
