This is definitely a bit of a wild card with some of the greats of the past. It is fair to say that some of them never learned to deal with a southpaw, because it was practical to steer clear of them. Obviously necessity is the mother of invention, and some of them would have risen to the challenge, if given no choice hut to do it.

good thread. A number of guys who were left handed were told to fight right handed - Henry Cooper, Gerry Cooney and Razor Ruddock. I wonder if they would all have been better if they fought as southpaws.
