    Who is the oldest boxer to have never won a world title before, and then won their first title? Any candidates? Like 35+ names?

    I don't know if thia is the answer but Thulani "Sugar Boy" Malinga was 40 when he topped Nigel Benn for the WBC Super Middleweight title.

    Jersey Joe Walcott was 37. Giacobbe Fragomeni was 39 when he won a cruiserweight title. Guillermo Jones was 36.
