Who are they? How much success did they have?

Jack Johnson was 60 the last time he stepped into the ring in 1938.

Fitzsimmons was a bit past 50.

Archie Moore fought until he was nearly 50. Hopkin's is currently 43.

The Indestructable Journeyman Marion Wilson was past 50.

    Evander Holyfield's... what... 46 now I think?

Probably not what you're looking for, Russell, but if you're looking for a laugh, there was an old man back in the 1930's by the name of Cpl William Jubb who, in his early 90's, participated in a few professional fights (all resulted in draws...BoxRec has one of them listed), and was also dubbed the whiskerweight champion during his boxing "career".

Saul Mamby takes the cake..... Yes, he fought a terrible opponent at age 60 to 61 years..... I suppose that counts, but that bout was more so a farce......:scaredas:

Jem Mace was still going in his 60s, fighting for a veteran title, figuratively and indeed literally.

Indeed two months before his 59th birthday he fought for the English title, probably the third most important title of the era.

Australian Dexter Dunworth 53, is acknowledged by Guinness World Records as the world's oldest active boxer.

Dunworth has won nine of his 10 bouts in the US and boasts a 90 per cent victory-by-knockout rate. Boxing Records ranks him Australia's No. 6 cruiserweight, and among his collection of titles are the US Mid American and Arkansas belts.

Yeah, just needs a few more bouts.

He's trying to get a fight organised over here in his home country and they won't let him - apparently they consider him too old - fancy that!
