Not only Malinga won his 1st world title at 40, but he won his 2nd world title at 42. It's actually quite impressive.

 

I’ll have to recheck, but one that stood out to me, is his claim that a man by the name of Bobby (last name escapes me) was his son. Born five days before the Patterson fight.

I don’t remember much of what he said about Liston at all tbh as I haven’t read the book in quite some time and quite frankly, I have zero interest in doing so.

I actually remember he made a claim that Marciano retired to avoid Patterson which was absolutely absurd.

Patterson wasn’t even in the top five at that point and had actually just crawled into the top ten when Rocky retired.

 

Did he say that? I may be wrong but I remember him saying something of the opposite in his interview with fayz boxing... may be wrong tho.

 

The Marciano ducking claims are always absurd. There's always something someone has to say to try and degrade the rock for some reason or another, "He only beat old men", "He ducked x", "He only made it to the top/only is as well remembered as he is because he's white".
I think people forget that he wasn't Tommy Morrison.
