He has a point he has starched Glass Jaw Rahman twice. I just think he is too old and injury prone now he looked like an old man against Peter and we all know how bad Peter is.

I still think Rahman gets the fight if he wants it.

I think he wants a nice payday. Should cover his hospital bills at least.

About the only thing to aim for is that they could draw a big crowd in Moscow. The question is whether Wladimir wants to go for that, or could they line up a big venue in the States against Rahman? Depends which country he wants to raise his profile in more.

With Oleg, you never know. For all his liabilities (horrbile defense, slow, stiff head, shaky chin) - some of which have only intensified with age - the guy still holds natural one punch KO power, kind of like Sanders. There is also this unconfirmed story that Oleg beat Klit, when they were fighting as amateurs (even if its true, I doubt it would change anything today). Still, Klit would be wise to keep his distance with jabs and pounce on Oleg only when he's certain a counter punch wont be coming his way. All and all, Oleg would not be a bad last minute opponent. Better than someone like McCline, Austin or Thompson, that's for sure.

Winner take all would be a good pay day, but he is putting himself out there with an offer like that

Nice words by Maskaev, this is the fight Wladimir needs.

Doesn't sound like an exciting match up to me. This fight would probably wind up as yet another dominant but dull Klitschko defense. Maskaev would have been dangerous a few years back but at his current state it is obvious that he's just in it for the money.

Wlad is in the witness protection programme for heavyweights. And he's never leaving.

    He does have a point...

but the REAL point is that Wlad shouldnt fight rock OR maskaev... both are guys who should have to work their way up if they ever want to crack the top rankings again....

but we all know it wont happen like that.
