Rahman's right hand is harder than Peter's. Look what Rahman's right hand did to Lewis. Did not stop Oleg, nor did he stop Oleg in his prime either. Oleg knocked Rahman out of the ring and out in their first fight, knocked him out in their second fight. Peter will need Don King's cheating, Peter will aim for the back of the head and low blows, ref will be a criminal and so will the damned judges.

yes. oleg has very good two-fisted skill and power. when u see his ko losses it looks like a different person. a couple of times he barely gets touched and gets KTFO. very strange.

peter for all his faults does have some very good natural gifts.

so i wouldn't be surprised by anything at this point. i could see both men getting knocked out or losing on the cards .

What happened to Peter's chin in the McCline fight? What happened to Peter's punching power vs. McCline? Peter will need Don King to cheat.

So what does that say about Peter's chin?

Peter has never been knocked out, yes he was caught with powerful uppercut and a hook, but he was able to recover and go on to outbox a fighter he was only 9 days prepared for. When he fights Maskaev, he will be fully prepared for his oppenent, unlike in his last meeting with Mccline.

Don't confuse power with intellegence ...
Peter is a good prospect but he's not on the level of the elite. I think he's a product of media hype.
He needs to be more proven at this point in his career.
Maskaev is a vet and if given the chance will expose the inexprienced Peter.

Peter has shown that he's not all that by getting knocked down several times by McCline. I think that he was the favorite in that fight which gave him the edge on the scorecards.

Peter will lose against Maskaev by KO in the late rounds. He showed that he has stamina issues and lacks overall boxing technique. If he can't knock you out he won't win. He can't out box anyone .... I think Povetkin will beat Peter easily.

Peter will be ready come March 8, there is no excuses if he loses to Maskaev, because he will have more than 9 days to prepare for him, by using sparring partners that are a similiar size and fighting style to Maskaev, something he was unable to do against Mccline. I think every good fighter gets a wake up call at least once in there career, Tyson had one, Lewis did, and we all know Wlad had a couple, all of which were against lesser oppenents than Mccline, lucky enough Peter was able to hold his composure and to come back to outbox Mccline and get the win.

Yeah but Toney could punch his way out of a wet paper bag at HW. I don't think that win or the performance was significant.

    Oleg by K.O.
    This would not suprise me.
Peter is slow, fat and is right there to hit.
    If McLine drops him,
    Oleg knocks him out.

He didn't out box McCline, Klitschko, or Toney the first time around. He's not all that good for a HW.

The state of the Heavyweight division is very weak, because currently he is 2nd or 3rd in every respectable web site or magazine, I however feel you have to be at least a little skilled or talented to get a ranking like that, dont you think?
