    Jabs stuffed in by Maskaev. Clinch. Right hands smashed down on the back of Maskaev's neck by Williams. Clinch. Williams clings to Maskaev, not letting him jerk free, leaning into the ropes, doing something like a crocodile death-roll. Spine punches by Williams. Maskaev shakes him off and jabs Williams in the face. Williams ducks a jab and slips another. Maskaev lands a third and wobbles him. Williams puts up his own slow jab, misses, and collapses into a clinch. Maskaev is spun into the ropes. The ref separates them. Leaping hook by Williams, ducked. Maskaev catches him with both arms circling around his waist. Break. Hard left hook to the body by Williams. That hurt Maskaev. Another. Maskaev dives in and grabs Williams around the thighs. Maskaev is pushed down and falls on all fours. No knockdown. They scrabble in close, both pushing and throwing short little punches. LEFT HOOK BY MASKAEV BANG ON THE CHIN at point blank range! Williams down. Somehow not ruled a knockdown??!? Not sure what the ref's call was there. Clearly was a KD. I'm going to err on the side of calling it 10-8.

    Maskev wouldnt stop holding at the end. One more round Maskaev woulda been KO'd. Man that is BS

    Williams is trying to leave the ring, believing the fight to be over and has to be called back. As he gets back into the ring he is eating a Snickers bar, which the referee takes from him and the two are waved in. Maskaev lands a jab, and another, startling Williams into action. He begins to backpedal, but gets tangled in the ropes. Maskaev starts helping him to get out but then he is tangled in the ropes. Both spend the first two minutes of the round trying to escape from the ropes whilst trying to clinch one-another. Finally, the top rope is cut, releasing both of them. They clinch this classic out man to man.

    The decision is unanimous for Maskaev.

    "CHOMP" says Williams in the post-fight interview.
