Shakhnazaryan lands a couple of BIG left hooks, and Nabiyev is hurt. Nabiyev backs up and fires up jabs from a crouch while covering his face. More hooks by Shakhnazaryan thudding in. Time out. They check tape on Nabiyev's glove. Time in. Shakhnazaryan lands a right hand and follows with a hook. Big lead right hand whipped up and over, hitting Nabiyev in the face. Nabiyev hops away, trailing jabs. Right to the body from outside by Nabiyev. Hard right hand lead by Shakhnazaryan. Right to the body stepping through by Shakhnazaryan. Nabiyev jumps up flurrying and ties up, then pushes off.

Shakhnazaryan is dipping in, thrusting out his left shoulder to slam into Nabiyev, then springing off with hooks. 1-2s and hooks stepping in by Nabiyev, scoring once more with a high success rate when he sets the pace. HARD overhand right by Shakhnazaryan, followed by an uppercut rocking Nabiyev back.

Shakhnazaryan is backing up and flicking jabs. Nabiyev advances with probing double jabs as he steps into Shakhnazaryan and then lands overhand rights on the top of the head and left hooks on the cheek. Shakhnazaryan tries rolling with the punches and countering lightly with straights as he backs up. Pause again to check tape on Nabiyev's glove. Time in. Bell.

Lead rights charging in by Nabiyev. Counter hooks springing up off bent knees by Shakhnazaryan while backing up. Nabiyev has a point deducted. Unclear why. Time in. Constant aggression by Nabiyev, stepping in and hurling both fists in downward arcs. Hard left hook to the body by Shakhnazaryan. Looping right to the face. Nabiyev is hurt and backing up to the ropes. Uppercut inside by Shakhnazaryan as Nabiyev leans on him. Pot shot jabs by Shakhnazaryan running around Nabiyev instead of punching himself out looking for a finish, knowing he is likely up on the cards.
