Less than 10 seconds into the 5th, another hard uppercut combo to the body. Another knee taken by Ayvazidi. Papazov uses the 1-2 into the spindly arms to drive Ayvazidi back, and then pummels underneath. Yet another knee taken. Ayvazidi is heaving, gasping. Somehow it's allowed to continue. Hard combos by Papazov, finishing with a right hand drilling into Ayvazidi's face as he ducks. Ayvazidi responds with a low blow. Papazov is hurt but takes only moments to regroup. Time in. Papazov is on the attack. Ayvazidi desperately flurries back at him, landing a flush right hand drawn all the way back for extra torque and momentarily stunning Papazov. Huge right uppercut by Papazov. Left and right hooks by Papazov. Ayvazidi shoulders into him and buries his face against Papazov's chest. Slapping left hook to the face by Ayvazidi before tying up. Papazov lets several hard left hooks go, alternating from body to head. Ayvazidi is nearly doubled over and frequently wobbled but takes it all. Ayvazidi circles tight around Papazov, grabbing and pulling him down, and slapping in pendulums to the body. 50-43 Papazov
Trench warfare in the sixth, mostly still one way traffic. Ayvazidi is making his case with sheer volume of bowling balls to the body but the clean effective punches belong to Papazov with his almost mechanically precise twisting and textbook hooking combos. Very little deviation over the course of three minutes, each man sticking to his forte. Clinches are still frequent by Ayvazidi but not too disruptive to prevent ample exchanges.
Either Ayvazidi retired or they've changed it to a 6-rounder, because they're cutting off their gloves and Papazov looks celebratory.
:-( Worse than the "IKE-IKE-IKE!!" guy in Wright vs. Quartey - and nearly as bad as the p4p worst shrill boxing wives. (Tracy Byrd, Rachael Cordingley)
one dude is screaming the whole fight some like "whua" and one dude is whisteling... some strange dudes in that crowd.
