Round 3 Chemezov is jabbing in and knocking Husanov out of step when he lands. Husanov is putting up high counter jabs and rights on the backfoot, trying to whack Chemezov upside the head as he bows in. Chemezov is throwing heavier jabs now, dropping his head to the right as he comes in and following up with right hands to the body. He nods his approval as Husanov takes a 1-2 without blinking. Chemezov is forcing Husanov to flee from his jab. Husanov finally spins Chemezov to the ropes with a big hooking flurry, but little of it lands clean. Chemezov presses in aggressively, head down. Counter by cross Husanov; train collision, Chemezov down! Face first, then flipped on his back, legs kicking and writhing like a beetle! Waved off! TKO3!!
Husanov is now 3-0-1 (2) against fellow unbeaten prospects, and has beaten every one he's faced. ("avenging" his draw with 12-0 Timur Nergadze with a wide UD victory a few months later)
Why is Maskaev (or Beck) doing this? :-( So many pro athletes - more so fighters - just can't seem to leave the arena.
Yeah, the cross seemed more grazing than some of the shots both men had already landed up until then, but obviously it was enough to rob Maxim of his motor skills and equilibrium for a minute. :conf Sweet spot.
Sedreck Fields, Livin Castillo... This is not exactly a flattering "greatest hits" package they've put together for Olly...and the worst part is both guys were fairly competitive until Maskaev stopped them! (the ESPN graphic shows dead-even punch stats between Maskaev and Castillo in rounds 1 & 2...and Fields rocked Maskaev a time or two in the footage they showed earlier, although it was mostly Maskaev pounding away on him)
Just in time for the boxing event of the year. This content is protected Zdravsvucie lil mother****ers. :hat
