Not surprised at all. Was never convinced that this dude was the goods like some on here were. Way too fragile and robotic.

Damn, a lot of tears would have been shed by posters on here at seeing that.

Shawndell Terell Winters was 28 years old when he first stepped into a boxing gym, now he is 38 years old and has only been a pro boxer for 4 years, if he can beat Teslenko in that style then Teslenko has a big problem when he faces anyone from the top 20 in that weight division.

This is a terrible loss. But it's good to see that anyone can win if he shows determination, will and heart to fight. Great.

Wasn’t convinced he was going straight to the top but this is a major setback against a guy with little experience and a cruiser to boot.

Fair play to Winters, but I don’t understand the concept of elite level amateur boxers or amateur boxers with good pedigree heading to Canada?

He was stopped numerous times in the amateurs as well. Skill wise he always looked the part but his durability was always a question mark. I think he has pretty poor stamina as well as he was really blowing out of his ass in his fight prior to this one against the guy Michael ''Bounty'' Hunter Jr. blew out and of the very brief bit of footage I watched of the end of this one he looked like he was blowing a bit in that as well.

Hahaha. That's ****ing awful. Teslenko is done.

I don't want to deride Winters too much, but Winters was a cruiserweight for almost all his fights, he has losses to nobodies, he's almost goddamn 39, and he turned pro at 34.

I have to admit I was excited about Teslenko -- years ago. But he was clearly showing no improvement or ambition.

Good for Winters. Teslenko won't ever make it to the top 100.

This went a little under the radar. Lots were big on him, I was never overly convinced and felt there was a reason he was being moved slowly. Guess this is why. Good for Winters though, always good to see someone score an upset

That's dumb, he was dead tired and still took lots of flush shots.

Tslenko didnt gas, he just has poor recuperation. The shots he shipped at the end of rd3 and the big right hand beginning in rd4 took the wind out of his sails.
For all that amateur pedigree that people tout here, the 13 fight (both ams & pro!) novice had a much better jab, left hook, overhand right and head movement. Tslenko must have been munching on stiffs in those 224 fights
