The British HW scene is overall the toughest and credit to Usyk, he has beaten the best.
When you look at his resume he is more dominant than I think some realise.

For example

I know ratings change and aren't an accurate picture but they do often give an indication of how dominant a fighter can be
Considering Usyk hasn't been a HW his whole career and looking at the current boxrec top 20 HWs (Usyk rated #1) and see during this time how he compared with some of the other top HWs and who he had beaten.
Yes I know 2 of the wins weren't at HW but was looking at current opponents faced

I was just going to make a post about this. I can’t think of a heavyweight that has owned the British Boxing scene like this in a long time. Usyk has laid waste to the Brits.

Some of these Usyk fans has me seriously concerned.

It really feels like there is metal illness going on ass it isn't just liking a fighter or being fans of a fighter, it literally feels like they are looking at him like some kind of relgious prophet like Jesus came back or something

 

You’ve also got the win over Bellew who was coming off two heavyweight victories over Haye

 

Those British HWs were better than any other countries HWs barring Ukraine though weren't they

 

Not important. The only thing that matters is that the British lost.

 

Sometimes it feels like watching Usyk fight is like witnessing something beyond the sport of boxing. It’s not just about punches, footwork, IQ etc, it’s almost as if Usyk has tapped into a higher plane of existence. It's like he's not boxing but transcribing higher form of brilliance.

We as fans are also privileged to be able to witness this pure brilliance in this cursed era that has been stained by all kinds of chicanery.

 

I'm British and I don’t like any of our Heavyweights personality wise Usyk for me is more of a lad who could I meet up with and have a laugh with.

Joshua is weird and fake he acts all humble but really he's a wannabe roadman and a bully

Dubois just seems odd to me.

Fury is a basket case.

So for me I'm not really bothered Usyk has beaten our British Heavyweights for me I'm not into rooting for fighters based on nationalities. I'm 25 I've been watch boxing for atleast 15 years and I don't remember a single British fighter during that time that I would consider one of my favourites.

 

Crazy to think that Shaun Porter beat Usyk as an amateur
