Very different styles, both at their prime at heavyweight over 12 rounds.

I've never seen Usyk hit clean.
I believe he would avoid Mike's big shots and take him out late. Tyson could obviously chin Usyk but I believe Usyk would take a fair few as he posseses an iron jaw

Usyk TKO 11th round or Usyk 116-112 decision

People need to stop treating Tyson as this mythical creature, he fought men who were terrified of him in what was a very weak era in his younger days.

Usyk is great but he can't keep Tyson off him.

Tyson takes it comfortably if he changes levels and throws body-head combinations. He would struggle if he tries to head hunt, but ultimately I don't see Usyk standing up to prime, prepared Mike.

Usyk wins - just completely different level in terms of technical ability and boxing IQ.

I'm a big fan of Usyk and think he's genuine ATG with fantastic skills. But Tyson (an ATG himself) is all wrong style for him. I'd pick Tyson in this one.

Frazier or Holyfield had more problematic styles for Usyk. Usyk by UD here.

For me one big factor in this is that Usyk is fearless, and wouldn't be intimidated or bullied by Mike - many folks were beaten by Mike before the got into the ring. And Mike would know that he could not intimidate or mentally dominate Usyk so that would play into the fight.

It's still an intriguing match up though, as Mike was quick at getting inside and Usyk - if he has weaknesses it's to the body.

I'd probably take Usyk to win maybe 7 times in 10 by UD, I just think he would be too good for Mike from a skills and IQ pov, but if Tyson managed to connect, then it's hard to see him not getting some success.

Usyk outboxes a big stiff idiot hypejob bodybuilder who has the boxing ability of a 6 round bill filler and suddenly he can beat ATG heavyweights

ok. Watch what happens when Usyk faces a real heavyweight. Wilder has more fight in him than AJ.

Well as much as the big fan of Usyk that I am. Weighing everything up and considering firstly, the age differences between a peak Tyson and Usyk at his HW debut and above age, plus their styles, I'm leaning towards Tyson.

I think Tyson catches him at some point. Chisora had some good early success with Usyk with an aggressive but crude style.

I can't help thinking if we swopped in a peak Tyson rather than Chisora at the start of round one of the Chisora/Usyk fight, then Tyson gives Usyk all sorts of problems.

It's not a given for either fighter for me. But I'm leaning towards Tyson for now.

Usyk's next couple of fights may change my mind.
