Part of me couldn't be more thrilled, he's probably my favorite boxer aside from Usyk. But part of me is worried because I'd hate to see him lose to someone he has no business losing to, because he lost the passion or spent too much time away. Also, that bruising he suffered on his brain is no joke. But at least The Nail is a smart enough fighter to avoid those kind of shots from anyone not named Beterbiev. But even then, as he showed against Stevenson and Artur, his chin is damn solid, so he could probably take them.
If he hasn't lost a step he could take on Bivol first up but probably best to have a safe tune up first to see where he is at. I'm not sure if he's still tied to Top Rank. I guess Bivol has to get past Gilberto first too.
