Amen to that! He certainly has the skills to beat Stevenson and then fight the winner of Ward vs Kovalev in an unification bout. Now that would be huge!

Size isn't everything, but it's still an advantage. Here's the height and reach of the top LHWs:

    Height
    1. Gvozdyk 6' 2"
    2/3. Kovalev and Ward 6' 0"
    4. Beterbiev 5' 11 1/2"
    5. Stevenson 5' 11"

    Reach
    1. Stevenson 77"
    2. Gvozdyk 75 1/2"
    3. Beterbiev 73"
    4. Kovalev 72 1/2"
    5. Ward 71"

Stevenson gorilla reach implies that he might actually be a ****** like Kovalev once suggested.

So since Smith-Barrera has been announced where does this leave Gvozdyk?
He needs a summer tune up, realistic options could include Salamov, Monaghan, Radivoje Kalajdzic and Australian
    Trent Broadhurst.

Pretty good fighter. Nice combinations. Good 1-2's and 1-2-1's reminiscent of Kovalev. He likes throwing combinations though. He could be more dangerous if he works on his timing to deliver a more concentrated blow like Kov.
