Oleksandr Gvozdyk Would Easily Dominate And Brutally KO Andrzej Fonfara. Yes Or No?

I know what you're thinking who is this nobody and I highly doubt he'd outbox and KO the fourth best Light Heavyweight in the division with ease.....well he would and the match wouldn't even be competitive, granted this is just my opinion but I'll try to explain my reasoning. While I am a big fan of Andrzej and said he would be a stylistic problem for Adonis, his decent performance against Stevenson has lead to him being vastly overrated on here by some, the reality is he's not nearly as good as some on here have made him out to be. Okay great he KO'd Chavez Jr. who is just a overweight Middleweight who didn't have the build or power to compete against such massive guys at Light Heavyweight and even then it took Fonfara using his head as a speed bag for 9 rounds before he hurt him, but ultimately not too shocking he got the KO victory. Before that Fonfara struggled with and looked pretty bad against Doudou Ngumbo and won the match via wide UD which in reality was far closer than the official scores reflected with Ngumbo closing strong, and add to that Ngumbo was KO'd in 5 by Kovalev victim Mohammedi.

He was outboxed by Tommy Karpency before Tommy pulled out of the match of because of an arm injury, he was being comprehensively outboxed by Gabriel Campillo post the Kovalev KO until he lucked out and landed a big shot and scored a late KO. He had a draw with Glen Johnson and got a gift wide UD win. But because he did well against Stevenson its caused many to think he's one of the top fighters in the division, as opposed to the reality that Stevenson's punching power is overrated and once you figure out how to deal with his straight left he's not that hard to deal with. He then went on to be worked over for the first 6 rounds of the Cleverly match before Nathan got stupid and decided to walk in with his head down and attempt to have a slugfest with him and he got his nose broken from an uppercut. Regardless Fonfara's supposed power never really effected Clev who was easily destroyed in 3.1 by Kovalev.

Fonfara isn't the best boxer in the world and if put someone with a modicum of skill before him with a decent chin and a game plan they'll stick to, beating him is a piece of cake. He struggles with pure boxers with good defense, a good jab and good footwork of which Gvozdyk possesses these qualities. he's a far better all around boxer than anyone Fonfara has been in the ring with including Stevenson.

So while it is highly unlikely that this match will ever take place due to Gvozdyk being with Top Rank and Fonfara working for Haymon, it would be a great match for Gvozdyk to have his coming out party with and announce his arrival on the scene as one of the top Light Heavyweights that he is, only he hasn't been allowed to show it yet due to Arum's heinously awful handling of his career thus far. He would dominate Fonfara with his jab, amazing accuracy and combinations slowly ripping apart the face of The Polish Prince snapping his long ass giraffe neck back at will, nothing of note would land from Fonfara due to Gvozdyk having great defense and Fonfara not being the fastest fighter in the world, in all likelihood Gvozdyk will not get pulled into a war or make too many mistakes since he's far more disciplined than most of the current LHW's and finally Andrzej will become desperate and panicky realizing he's down on the cards due to a few KD's and being outpointed the entire match and eventually he'll freak out and run into something big and get brutally knocked out cold by Robert Garcia's Killer Ukrainian Nail Of Oxnard.

Granted most will think I'm full of it....but I'm also the guy that said Beterbiev will crush Cloud and Yunieski Gonzalez would beat the hell out of Jean Pascal...so maybe you should trust me on this one.:D

Now that my incredibly biased opinion is out of the way.

How do you all see this match playing out?

Not only him but also Shabranskyy. These are not the kind of guys Fonfara can bully with his size nor outbox. I don't know if there'd be a knock out as Fonfara is very big and sturdy. They'd both heavily dominate Fonfara but a close decision could be expected since the fight will be on Fonfara's ground.

By the way I can't find Fonfara's fight night weights anywhere, he looked like a massive weight cutter to me, possibly coming in the ring over 190.

:good On Shabranskyy as well, Fonfara's been looking lately 190 looks about right, but I can't find the unofficial weights anywhere either.

With a bit more experience I'd wager on that, Gvozdyk is more talented than Fonfara in almost everything. Don't see what people are upset about here, perhaps they've not seen Gvozdyk. Gvozdyk is A+ level talent potentially, Fonfara is a B- level guy.

I had it 6-4 for Pascal and it could have easily been 5-5 draw, Yunieski did beat the hell out of Pascal, that being said, somehow someway Pascal even while being beaten down he still landed the cleaner work in 5 to 6 rounds and barely edged it on the cards and my card, regardless Fonfara isn't even close being on Pascal's level.
