The funny thing is Fury hasn't seen any of this silly goading which is merely Usyk's desperately wanting his payday thinking Fury has any input. Fury has set his terms months ago, 60:40 Wembley. Time for Usyk's management to give way which they will. Fury will sign. The real story here is how the Saudi's failed to get anything together or maybe they have?
Eddie Hearn has wisely stated that if the Saudi's don't pay up then Fury would make more money fighting AJ/Wilder/Nnaganou than fighting Usyk. Which is very true...tough spot for Usyk. Even with a 60:40 split! Fury Usyk needs to generate record UK PPV sales. Casuals Americans won't care. Everyone knows 1.5 million would be the most a fight like this could generate.
Let's all be thankful that the Saudis couldn't come through. This event will be ten times the event in Wembley than it would be in SA.
Only if Fury accepts the challenge because that's the only fun he gets from it. Given Tommy is doing a clown fight next week what happens if the Saudi's turn round and say hey forget Usyk we'll give you what you're getting + more to fight that UFC bloke? Sadly the way business is the only way this fight is happening is if Fury truly throws the question of money out the window. It's easy for Usyk the say "forget money" because he's not the one with options. Everyone also knows time is on Fury's side...if Fury was Floyd Mayweather this fight would not happen. Joe Joyce is the insurance...Fury literally can do whatever he wants and he cannot lose. Fans will hate him for not fighting Usyk though or atleast not next.
How would everyone feel if Fury & Warren have been bluffing this entire time and will announce Fury Nnnganou in Saudi next week on the Fury Paul fight? LMAO I think heads would explode.
The fact that you approach the whole situation with a mindset like that is solid proof that you are not a fan of the sport at all.
Why would I be a fan of a sport that's corrupt at every level in every category and only's purpose is to extract every penny from the flesh of boxers of which only a tiny fraction make enough to retire off after sacrificing their body to it. If you don't like the reality of what I'm talking about from that business perspective in regards to Fury Usyk tough crap. If Fury priced himself out with the Saudi's then we can talk about where blame lays. You think I'm blind biased DKSAB but when the time for real talk comes you'll get it and you can listen or you can throw feces at me...which I will happily bathe in because that's how I get my kicks. Also I like Joe Frazier more than you.
Usyk knows and has known that Fury won't fight him because Fury is following the Mayweather playbook but isn't smart enough to realise that cherrypicking only really works below light heavyweight. So, as a result, Usyk is going into overdrive calling Fury out to strengthen his case when this 'fight' inevitably falls through. It's no different to how vocal Eddie Hearn was in 2021 about making the AJ-Fury undisputed fight - Eddie probably knew the Wilder arbitration would succeed and/or that Fury didn't want the fight (until AJ had lost twice more), so he made as much positive noise as possible to strengthen himself once the deal fell through and the general public would pick AJ's side and blame Fury for the collapse in negotiations None of this is really that surprising. However what WOULD tickle my willy is whether behind closed doors Bob and Frank are beginning to turn on Fury. Joe Joyce isn't a joke, so who's to say Fury would even fight Joe? What's this bollocks about Ngannou or Wilder 4? ''I'm the only heavyweight champion in history [outside of a bunch of guys in the early 20th century] who fought a guy 4 times'' People were JOKING about Wilder 4 after Chisora 3 and now look. If you publicly support Fury in AD2023 you are literally outing yourself as a nugget. Even AJmania 2017-2018 wasn't half as deranged as this
