If they both become lineal AND undisputed, undefeated champs in a pair of boxing's most historic divisions... I mean yeah, that's mega money. Or should be on paper (and almost certainly would be if either was American or British or Mexican).

Look at last century - Louis vs. Conn, Marciano vs. Moore, Frazier vs. Foster, Holmes vs. Spinks were all HW vs. LHW match-ups that drew big but none of them were reigning lineal undisputed undefeated champ versus reigning lineal undisputed undefeated champ. This would be historic in an unprecedented way.

I personally wouldn't boink the ugly mug if we were cellmates and he offered me ten cartons of cigs and a shiny shiv made of the finest toilet porcelain.

And if he tried serenading me to seal the deal with that warbling banshee voice of his, he's getting pillowed on the breathing holes in his sleep.

Beterbiev said he weighed 83kg or 83kg something when he campaigned up at HW and fought Usyk so like 183-184lbs and 16-17lbs below the division limit

But even though he was greatly undersized at that weight, and much better suited to LHW, he still managed to stop a lot of his opponents when campaigned up there

2012 Chemistry Cup (Halle, GER) 1st place 91KG Won against Wang Xuanxuan (CHN) AB 3rd round in the final; Won against Julio Castillo (ECU) 14:5 in the semi-final; Won against Elber Passos (BRA) RSC 3rd round in the quarter-final; Won against Johann Witt (GER) 14:9 in the first preliminary round
2012 International Team Tournament (Almaty, KAZ) 1st place 91KG Won against Aleksey Sevostyanov (KAZ) AB 2nd round; Won against Suliman Abdourachidov (FRA) WO; Won against Manpreet Singh (IND) RSC 3rd round
2011 AIBA World Championships (Baku, AZE) 5th place 91KG Lost to Oleksandr Usyk (UKR) 17:13 in the quarter-final; Won against Djakhon Kurbanov (TJK) AB 2nd round in the second preliminary round; Won against Mario Heredia (MEX) AB 1st round in the first preliminary round
2011 Umakhanov Memorial Tournament (Makhachkala, RUS) 1st place 91KG Won against Jose Angel Larduet (CUB) WO in the final; Won against Abdulkadir Abdullayev (AZE) 11:3 in the semi-final; Won against Reza Moradkhani (IRN) RSCI 1st round in the quarter-final
2011 Russian National Championships 1st place 91KG Won against Abdulkhamid Nurmagomedov (RUS) 15:4 in the final; Won against Arbi Madayev (RUS) WO in the semi-final; Won against Spartak Bakhtiyarov (RUS) AB 2nd round in the quarter-final
2011 Great Silk Way Tournament (Baku, AZE) 1st place 91KG Won against Teymur Mammadov (AZE) WO in the final; Won against Vasiliy Levit (KAZ) 3:0 in the semi-final; Won against Sarkhan Jabbarov (AZE) KO 1st round in the quarter-final
2010 Russian National Championships 2nd place 91KG Lost to Pavel Nikitayev (RUS) 12:3 in the final; Won against Abdulkhamid Nurmagomedov (RUS) AB 2nd round in the semifinal; Won against Pavel Shulskiy (RUS) WO in the quarterfinal

Russ Anber saying that selectors for the Russian national team, and I've heard this before, wouldn't give the Olympic LHW slot to Beterbiev. Hence why he ended up taking the HW one instead

But Usyk is 220lbs now and Beterbiev isn't as big as many believe he is. I would be surprised if he came in anywhere near 200lbs if he fought Usyk at HW. He's not even coming in at 190 at LHW AFAIA

Age is also against Artur here

Usyk far too big now. He'd toy with King Artur and most stop him.

King Artur wouldn't even beat Breidis, Opetaia, Bellew, or Chisora.

 I'd favour him but Beterbiev gave him three really hard fights for a reason despite the weight disparity between them at HW. When Beterbiev fought Michael ''The Bounty'' Hunter Jr., who spent most of his senior career up at SHW battling giants like Fury, Cammarelle, Timuziev among others, Hunter was the one who was looking uncomfortable in the final round trying to deal with his aggression and power and he was the one who holding and spoiling. So it can't be a coincidence that Beterbiev is able to cause all these excellent much heavier fighters so many problems.

You do not know how to score fights. Even the knockdown was waived off because he punched the kidney.

"Calm down"? Somebody asked whether it would be lucrative and I pointed out how it would be a historical first, while at the same time qualifying that it probably wouldn't be as big a moneymaker as if either (or preferably both) were American/Mexican/British. You at no point saw me clamoring for it or hyping it up as being the best or most competitive or interesting fight to be made...which for Usyk, at least, it falls well short of being.

Oh you've seen it? Aren't you special. You're in the VIP exclusive club that saw a rare match...that's posted in the OP. Yay!

I've seen like half a dozen of your posts, and they have all been objectively very bad. You called for deletion of a thread simply because it was 14 years old, when it's better than any contribution you will probably ever make here. You're a dumb kid whose opinion means nothing.
