    How did AJ defenders came up with the idea that usyk is going to fold as soon as AJ starts to throw power punches lol. If usyk is forced too he can brawl it out with AJ as he saw with joyce.

    Telegraphed overhand right after overhand right, mixing with uppercut sometimes, then grab. Lead left hook when Jack was coming in. That's pretty much it, over and over again. No decent combo, no 1-2, no decent counter, no adjusting mid exchange.

    This is just what they prefer,

    Particularly the guy who does little damage while on retreat, have to add in the desperate clinching & how i could i forget their favorite scoring point the Jab & there you go UK in a nutshell.

    Eh...

    I like Popeye's commitment to the gimmick and he has a case for getting the win, but this was an either way kind of fight. Jack landed the heavier shots and was indeed a bit more accurate even in a lot of rounds where Rivera did well.

    I thought Jack won the 1st, 7th, 8th, and 10th, and Rivera won Rounds 3-5 and round 9 on my card. The other two rounds were toss ups, based on what I saw. So...96-94 either way was certainly feasible.

    I do think Rivera should be miffed that the time keeper fell asleep in the 8th round, and the officiating was pretty lax. So I would be down for seeing a rematch with a different ref and a competent time keeper, that's for sure.
