Dubois is dangerous. A young giant with power and who is hungry to prove himself. Would I rather have seen the Fury fight? Obviously, but this is a good fight against a legit contender.

I consider him a more dangerous opponent than The Dosser because not only can he punch like a mule, with both hands not just one, but he actually has skills and can punch in combination, upstairs and down, has a great ram-rod jab, and he has more than one punch in his arsenal to be wary of.

And obviously Usyk won't receive a fraction of the credit for beating him than he would for beating The Dosser. Super high risk, low reward.

I got Usyk winning this by stoppage around 7. At the latest I'll say round 9. Feel like Dubois knows he can't win on points so he's gonna go for the knockout early and end up with low gas by the fifth or six, and after that Usyk will end up stopping him similar to how he did Bellew, though we could end up with a Michael Hunter situation that actually ends the fight this time.

I don´t really know what people giving Dubois more than the slightest of slight chances are thinking. Dude´s way out of his depth here and in just to take a paycheck and a beating. There´s pretty much no way he can get anything going against someone like Usyk, too much skillset disparity.

5-0 (4KOs) HW from Kazakhstan wasn't happy about losing his unbeaten record via stoppage to a 3-0 (3 K0s) HW from Uzebekistan. Tough match up for both at such an early stage of their careers and it being way down on the undercard. But the Uzbek looks a powerful puncher and the stoppage seemed fair

Can't timestamp it so anyone who wants to watch it will have to rewind the stream. The fighter from Kazakhstan is wearing the colours of his country

Wolczecki vs. Arriaza was pretty entertaining while it lasted. Arriaza buzzed him real good in the first round and had him on the ropes but he recovered very well and went on to stop him after two knockdowns in the third round.

Did they show the Joel Julio fight? I thought he had retired years ago and just saw that he's been on a 10 fight losing streak over the last 3 years with several stoppages

I remember him coming up on HBO BAD and losing his 0 to Carlos Quintana

I know this isn't the popular call but I got usyk in 4

You might say a harder puncher like Joyce took longer. But all Joe could really land consistently was Jabs and he was very slow and predictable I think usyk with his speed and precision is going to rock him early and end it soon after.

I think Usyk will go for the knockout this time unlike when he could have against Joshua but took it easy at the end.

Joel Julio fought in the second fight on the YouTube stream. (You can rewind it if you want to watch it.)

I actually met him and covered his fight with Christopher Henry in Chicago on the Humberto Soto-Rocky Juarez undercard nearly 20 years ago. HBO thought he was going to be next Felix Trinidad.

I had no idea he was still fighting. Just looks like a doughy, short guy now.

Crazy. Boxing is an unforgiving sport.

The guy he fought today was a total dick at the end.

In that early heavyweight fight, the 5-0 Amanzholov looked like he had a magnet in his face. Mullojonov hit him flush with just about everything he threw.

The stoppage may have been quick. But it's well within the rules to block a punch being thrown at your face. Amanzholov should try that next time. ;)

I must admit I'm rather bemused by talk of an upset. As if an ATG is going to be undone by an oaf who hasn't even learned to move his head yet.

After a couple of rounds Usyk will be dialled in and the inevitability of the outcome will become obvious to all. I see Usyk stopping him rounds 6-8. No point letting the big man swing at you for 12 when you can quite safely get him out of there.
