*NOT OFFICIAL*, but the wind is blowing in this direction.

(which honestly is kind of a slap in the faces of messieurs Kabayel et Parker :ohno)

WBA Super, WBO, IBO (fifth defense of each by Usyk) as well as Ring Magazine (fourth defense of Usyk) and WBC (second defense of Usyk) and IBF (second defense of Dubois) titles on the line.

Forgive my ignorance. I thought the Parker/Dubios fight was to determine who would get the shot at Usyk? How is it that Dubios gets the nod over Parker? Parker saved the day by showing up. I believe there is no good reason why the Parker/Dubios fight cannot happen in 6-8 weeks from now. I don't want to hear any BS about over training either.

I predict that a lot of the folks hyping Dubois up will come to the sudden realization that doing well against plodding low gas tank guys like Miller and Hrgovic and someone as easily rattled as AJ are not indicators of being able to do better against Usyk, and all these same people will go right back to saying Dubois is a worthless bum who never had a chance and start poking holes in his run of wins like they saw them the whole time. Here, I'll help you get started on that: By any reasonable scorecard, Dubois was well behind against Hrgovic at the time of the stoppage.

Hopefully I'm wrong on that last point though. I've really enjoyed seeing Dubois put himself in contention despite being written off so abruptly, and it'd be a shame for that to be forgotten just because of another loss to the best in the division. Maybe he'll be given some slack this time, but I dunno, boxing is awfully "What have you done for me lately".

Anyways, Usyk in almost the exact same fashion as last time, maybe a bit sooner.

Oh and obligatory **** these unnecessary rematches. A pity it ain't Joseph Parker or Agit Kabayel. Was hoping Turki was so impressed by their wins that he'd wanna make those instead, but no dice :ohno

Dubois is for usyk the least dangerous fight since he knows duboi's style . Usyk will probably avoid parker and for fure avoid kabayel .

Dubois is the second best heavyweight on the planet. His form and confidence has grown since the first Usyk fight, so it's still a pretty neat fight. Reckon Usyk wins it again. The best thing about the entire fight is that Usyk would be the first two time undisputed heavyweight champion since Muhammad Ali.

And first 3X Undisputed male of the four belt era. I'd prefer if it was against a fresh face, but hey man, still a cool accolade to add to the achievement list :ggg

While I would quite like to see Dubois-Parker, Dubois doesn’t have any obligation to give Parker a shot. Parker is WBO interim champion, so not ranked by the IBF at all. It was only because Dubois chose Parker as a voluntary that the fight was even made in the first place.

Usyk-Dubois II would be for undisputed after all, while it has happened already, it’s not a bad fight, given Dubois has improved, and Usyk has slightly declined.

I’m sure he’s going to train very hard to do just that. And he’d have come away from the experience believing that he can.

That almost makes up for it not being Kabayel or Parker next...and of course if he faces either of them (or better still, the winner a Joe vs. Ağıt contest) afterwards then it's all water under the bridge. :D

    Usyk tko10 (or UD12).

Dubois lost pretty much every moment of the first fight. To me it's really a pointless fight other than Usyk getting a belt he never lost back. We really don't need to see a fight again against someone who quite frankly wasn't even all that competitive the first time, then submitted unceremoniously. Yeah Dubois had a bit of a renaissance but Joseph Parker and Kabayel are just as if not more deserving of their shots.

Makes sense, but the eliminator should still happen. I could see if Parker got sick, then giving Dubios the shot. Oh well, that's boxing for you.
