UD for Usyk. DuBois is going to stand in front of him for 12 and miss.

Punchers often tend to lose against boxing masters of technique.

    No chances for Dubois.

Size and power are immaterial when talking about Usyk opponents; he's faced many super heavyweights (between amateurs, semis, and pros) and never been remotely hurt. Dubois is basic as hell and offers next to nothing; Wilder is even more basic and offers legitimately nothing (if you disqualify his power).

We're in agreement that it'd be the bigger money fight and smart move for Usyk.

When will Wilder fight outside of USA ? It will be great for Usyk to conquer America too , he is the absolute road warrior , the brave ukrainian cossack .

Wilder traveling outside the USA would significantly diminish the upside of it being a huge purse. I don't think he draws the money overseas that he does in Vegas, L.A. or NYC (or hell even Birmingham, maybe, considering his local popularity)

Anyone voting for Dubois should probably just stop watching the sport.

End of July? That's disappointing and disgusting, is that to accommodate the undeserving challenger's injury healing? Usyk needed a fight this month or May. Usyk can't fight in early spring & winter due to religion so that leaves him trying to squeeze maybe 2 fights summer & fall, and that's not likely. It's going to be 1 fight a year.

In each of the last 4 years he has had only one fight per year. He only has 20 pro fights for ****'s sake it's not like he's had 50 fights like some of the 90's heavyweights. I'm starting to get pissed. That might be a waste of a career, although I still think he has years left, but it's not looking good.

Well, this month isn't likely and even May it'd have to be the second half. They need time for promoting an event to make it worthwhile.

These are the same people who said "Usyk doesn´t deserve an immediate title shot vs a Heavyweight. He HAS TO fight someone in the top 5!"
Meanwhile the dude unified Cruiserweight and was widely considered to be one of the best P4P boxers in the world. But guys didn´t want to see him fight for the HW belt because he had not "proven himself" yet.

AJ hurt him with a body shot, even Bellew got his attention. Usyk's less indestructible than grimly determined.

I think he plays it safe and cruises to a decision here, similar to the Chisora fight.

Trouble is. all of them have fights lined up, apart from the Gypsy Queen, leaving Usk not much choice.

    Better Dubois than Chisora.

I don’t mind this fight if it means we get aj vs fury/wilder in the meantime.

usyk boxes Dubois head off for 10 rounds and then stops him. Dubois is way more slow and one dimensional compared to AJ so you can imagine usyk having a lot of success here and landing at will

    Usyk on points.

Yes, we want him against better opponents, but they're busy, if we talk about Joyce and Wilder (Fury is another story). Considering when was the last time Usyk fought and that he pretends for a legacy, fighting the mandatories is a decent chance to write a good one. Sure, there're better options than Dubois and Hrgovic, but it's up to his team to negotiate, he has to comply also with the mandatory defenses if he wants to aim at the undisputed. It's a tricky situation only proving that so many belts bring no good.

Wilder hasn't got a fight lined up, and Joyce fights very soon. Even the "Queen" you mention doenst have a fight lined up, yet Usyk made not one single offer from himself to the "Queen", relying on the Saudis and fish-eyes to do the work before walking away (albeit from a silly offer).

Maybe Usyk should make some offers of his own? Set up camp in a country like Germany like Wlad did. He's such a huge worldwide household name now isnt he.

I bet we don't hear about Usyks next fight over the next two weeks and he will still choose Dubois. On a Warren card pmsl.

Not sure why you think Chisora needs another shot, that's an odd statement. I dont see Chisora ever getting a shot at a world title again (thankfully)
