From what I've seen of Dubois he looks exactly the same fighter who lost to Joyce, same predictable punch pattern, no head movement, lack of any lateral movement, no counter punching, just plow forward behind a hard jab and throw.

If Warren had any faith in Dubois he'd keep protecting him until he develops and peaks and then steer him to a title shot, but I think he's cashing him out vs Usyk before some unheralded fighter upsets him.

No because you put Dubois' name where Usyk's ought to go and vice-versa. Do you smell burnt toast?

    That ruins the joke though.

You can't remember 2019 jokes? Do you smell burnt toast?

Usyk strikes me as a man who would be more concerned with legacy that $$$.

Still, as he knows, there is life after boxing and money is always nice to have.

In light of the recent blatant duck, I think Usyk has to be ranked as the top dog a this point, and if Fury doesn't feel up to it, then Wilder would be my second choice.

I would be a bit more leery than you about the puncher's chance bit.

Randy "Tex" Cobb said that if you make a mistake in tennis, it's 15 love. If you make a mistake in boxing, it's your ass.

36 minutes is a long stretch to keep from making a significant mistake, so Wilder is in the fight as long as he's upright.

Think the most likely outcome of this bot would be a points victory for Usyk or a late stoppage.

I'd far prefer it over Dubois and I'd like to see it fought in Alabama or at MSG.

If Usyk takes it, then all the pressure is on Fury and we might see unification at last.

Dubois got rocked early in his last fight

The cruisers he fought are better boxers and faster than Dubois whose not the greatest defensively

Your idea is probably more right by late fight but my gut says early
