First heavyweight title fight (WBA Regular isn't legitimate) since the final fight between Fury and Wilder to take in the US. For all extends and purposes it appears that these two will clash. Usyk, on his part will defend his championship against the former Alabama-Slama champion. To be frank, none of us wanted this fight to happen (it isn't official, but it will probably happen), but we will all watch it, let's be real. In a way, this fight reminds me of Lennox Lewis against Mike Tyson.

Who do you think will win? :sherlock:

Funny enough, Usyk and Wilder could have fight in Beijing if it wasn't for Clemente Russo.

That reminds me a lot of the Parker fight. Wilder did well for someone that took up boxing as late as he did, but he needed to keep developing as a fighter, a right hook and an uppercut would have complimented his straight right hand well. The uppercut could have helped deter guys from coming in on him.

Feels like the question for most "headliner" fights nowadays. Good way for old fighters to stick around as long as possible and earn enough to retire......

At this stage of his career I reckon Deontay Wilder v Paul Gallen is a 50/50 fight.

Mr. Usyk said in a recent interview that he is going to do what he wants from now on. He is in that stage of his career. I am not going to defend it...but I am going to watch and enjoy.

So the point is that it is what Usyk wants because it is a potential big money/high profile fight, and the two have discussed fighting at least since the second Joshua bout.

Uysk just being true to his word, that he would fight Wilder. Eh, what the heck, do it and help Wilder feed his many kids.

Lmao, so the so-called "chapter" didn't actually close after Wilder was squished like a bug by Zhang and made to look like a washed up journeyman with no real skill or even power left? The Wilder fight is nothing more than a cynically chosen soft touch designed purely to attract and fool casuals. This whole "closing the chapter" and "legacy fight" narrative is complete bollocks as no one gives Lennox Lewis any real credit for beating a somewhat shot Tyson, and Wilder right now is far more washed-up than Tyson ever was back then. Usyk has always been subtly arrogant and full of himself beneath that fake jokey-clown gimmick he puts on, so his current attitude comes as absolutely no surprise.

Maybe the hardcore fans dont, but the casuals do for sure. And remember, it was a massive PPV fight at the time too.
If Usyk KO´s Wilder, it will go down in history as a "good" win, even tho it shouldn't. The fact that Usyk will have beaten Joshua, Fury, and Wilder is what makes this win special, even tho it shouldn't be.

Its a BS fight, but one I am looking forward to. I like seeing Wilder loose and I love watching Usyk dominate.
