The Haye managed Chisora has been taking training far more seriously and has been in much better shape and condition than he was before and with the exception of a week off he's been training for this one for 9 months straight and is in the best shape of his life. They've also been preparing for Uysk as an opponent for a whole year and working specifically on making improvements in the areas where slick southpaws pose him problems. Hence why they enlisted the services of previous opponent Gashi who he struggled to cut off the ring against and pin down and other southpaw movers.

By the sounds of it they're looking to throw punches in threes and fours, apply relentless pressure and cut off the ring and get in close and rough Usyk up on the inside and Haye says Chisora has now got the stamina to do that for 12 rounds straight. For me it depends on which Usyk shows up. The version who fought Witherspoon was noticeably stiffer and slower than the CW and WSB one (which Dave Coldwell also noticed) and his punch output much lower but I'm hoping his team have analyzed that performance and rectified it and we'll see the old Usyk tonight.

Man, Carly has a fun style. Hopefully she can keep up this pace, otherwise this will turn into a mess of a fight.
Good first round. Them ladies let their hands go.

How will a tubby man cut off the ring against a more fleet footed boxer?

Um, you don´t have to be fleet footed to cut of the ring. Even a sloth can cut of the ring if it actually knows how to. It´s about nuance. (Not saying Chisora has it)

I didn't like how he competed against Chazz Witherspoon who at best is journeyman level HW. He seemed challenged by a full sized HW.
