I've never really seen Parker willing to go out on his sword except for possibly the Whyte fight, but Whyte was exhausted by then. Wide decision to Usyk would be my pick.

The reason I see Usyk as being a terrible opponent is there isn't any way I can see Parker beats him via decision. Usyk will get the rub with officials so Parker would have to absolutely dominate him to get a decision. So then we come back to the punchers chance, but Usyk is a defensive master and Parker hasn't shown an ability to consistently rock top tier HWs.

He made a few attempts against AJ but was partly negated by the ref, and he went out on his sword against Whyte in a fight where if Whyte was deducted points (or DQd) for his fouls then the fight would have been a Parker W.

Those are his only two losses.

I actually think this is a good match up for Parker. Surely he's hungry for another title, I think he can edge a split decision. We know that Usyk isn't going to hurt him so I think this is going to be a highly tactical 12 rounder.

When Usyk fought up at SHW in the WSB he was able to either stop, drop and stop, hurt or at the very least get the respect of most if not all of those SHW behemoths.

The first behemoth in this vid is Junior Fa who is 2-2 with Parker in the amateurs and he certainly seemed to be feeling the weight of Usyk's shots

He might not admit to it but Chazz Witherspoon was too. Granted he took the fight on very late notice, but his three stoppage losses came against opponents who had between 10-19lbs on him, whereas Usyk was giving away 27lbs to him. But when Usyk caught him clean he was definitely feeling the weight of his shots and he looked uncomfortable even if he hadn't been visibly hurt by them. Usyk might not be a banger but he has enough steam on his punches to earn the respect of these SHW sized behemoths.

The AJ fight was as corrupt as it gets. We'll never know what would have happened there if they were allowed to engage.

Good fight but this should be an elimination fight to face Joshua not strip Joshua

I think we may get a situation like we had with parker whyte and parker Joshua where the judges have it unanimously for usyk but a few people think it's closer than the real scores with some nip tuck rounds that people argue about

If Joshua can't do his mandatory defenses within the time frame allowed (6 months for 2 fights isn't shocking btw) then he shouldn't tie up the belt.

If Usyk has a mandatory shot (which he earned by unifying in CW), then he should be able to take that shot. It all seems reasonable to me.

I wouldn't say he'd be holding anything up usyk has barely been at the division. I think Joshua should be given a chance to face pulev and usyk to keep his belts

I really am not interested in a fractured hwt title and paper champs

Usyk has an immediate mandatory claim, and Joshua IS given a chance to face both. As far as I can see it isn't that it has to be one or the other, it's that he has been given a relatively reasonable time period to do both defenses.

Shame that AJ won't just do both defenses instead of choosing to have a minimum of 6 months off between fights. Lets not pretend that he isn't doing the minimum amount of work to earn the maximum amount of money.

Usyk debuted at heavyweight vs Witherspoon in October it wouldn't be a year until October 2020 its rare that a champ gets stripped this fast. Joshua hasnt exactly declined facing both Usyk and Pulev

I would rather see Usyk prove himself at heavyweight before being given a gimme title without facing a real champ.

In my ideal world Joshua faces Pulev in the spring and Usyk and Parker fight a WBO eliminator. Wilder faces Fury. Joshua faces the WBO mandatory and Wilder/Fury have another fight or face Whyte. Winners meet for all the belts

Me & the missus went to the Tua vs Cameron fight, she came away from that saying "holy ****, he seems so nice on the tv".
We also went to the Parker vs Ruiz fight and she said "he just has no mongrel"

Be surprised if Parker is actually taller, could even be smaller.
Guessing Parker won't KO him so Usyk wins.
Usyk Joshua/Wilder are the most interesting fights...
