May be the toughest fight of Parker's career

....and of Usyk's, if Parker can manage to light a fire under his own ass.

Parker's been doing a lot of strength training recently and Kevin Barry said he's punching with a lot of speed and power.

Obviously Usyk's main assets up at HW will be his CW Level speed and boxing ability, but Parker does have really fast hands himself (he's probably got the quickest combinations in the division) and he does hit hard so it's a tough fight for both if Parker's on top of his game.

Parker has zero chance against Usyk in terms of boxing and trying to win a decision.
Parker has problems with the likes of Hughie Fury and Andy Ruiz, and Whyte did pretty well against him as well, and Whyte boxing is nothing special, so he have zero chance against Usyk, except for KO/TKO.
Some people don`t realize what kind of pace Usyk is putting on his opponents, a pace that his opponent simply can`t stand. Parker will be dead tired by the end of the 5-6 round.
Parker can`t stand to Usyk pace, he can`t outbox him, and i very much doubt he can KO/TKO him.

Posters are saying a hungry and motivated Parker can defeat Usyk. I've seen several but not all of Parker's fights...when has he ever fought motivated and/or hungry, because I've never seen it. He appears to be a "fight safe" guy, not take any chances, poke and hope.

Frank - to say that - you seriously have missed most of Joe's career.

But - yes - he does have things to prove

Take the rose colored glasses off.....

What pace, he never ever fought even a C level Heavy...............Witherspoon was zero level and he went rounds and rounds....

FACT: Usyk has never ever fought a Heavy with a pulse in his Pro career

As far as Parker is concerned, he aint got no fire in the belly, no killer instinct and is not a hard puncher.....he is the ultimate silent agreement guy......if you cannot get by the punch bag Whyte your Goose is cooked.

Parker needs to re locate to the US, dump barry and the rest of his team, get a real trainer , fight some bums to rebuild, have him see a shrink to get rid of his self doubt and maybe then Parker can play on the highest level again....aint gonna happen so logical conclusion is Parker is done.

If there's no mongrel at this stage - yes - Parker may be done.

But there are signs of the hunger returning

The problem is Parker does not have a good coach and this was evident in the fights with Joshua and Whyte, Usyk would probably win on points even though Parker has a chance to win but only by knockout...

Whyte gave Parker a headbutt in Rnd 2 that was so bad it knocked Parker down

From then on it was a miracle Parker could fight at all.

Exactly like that. My boxing in sparring works great untill someone is 4 inches taller even if that someone is a beginner. Joshua-Ruiz 2 is a perfect example of it. Also look at Washington-Chambers. Size>Skills.
