Clear Usyk round there, movement giving Gassiev few chances to throw.

 

Gassiev with a good left hook to the head followed by some hard body shots to start the round, definitely the best punches of the fight so far. Uysk seemed to back up a little bit. Uysk landed some sharp straight punches, landed a few jabs and then got caught with another left hook to the body.

19-19 another close round, could have gone either way but, Gassiev with the more meaningful punches

 

Usyk is excellent when he boxes, using his quick feet. Gassiev needs to hope Usyk will fall into a brawl coz that’s the only way he can win

 

uysk is doing his thing, gassiev need to put his will into it.

 

Gassiev being soundly outboxed by someone with an understanding of boxing and the size and brain to stick with a plan. Who would have ever thought after watching the Lebedev bout.

Usyk is very busy, always first with the jab, sometimes as much as quadrupling it before Gassiev can get a punch in edgewise, often punctuating the woodpecker impressions with a fully turned over left hand while also scissoring his legs astride to flank Gassiev. Usyk lighting Gassiev up at mid-range while turning him on a spit. Gassiev's relative slowness of hand and foot making this very awkward for him. Gassiev is rolling in some overhand rights but his fist is colliding in midair with Usyk's waiting left, sniping it with premeditated ease like a clay pigeon. Gassiev never quite getting close enough to unload downstairs.
