like 25 years ago, I was an intern at a big company that had interns from all over the world. Met this (fairly cute) girl from Hong Kong there. Asked her out, took her for dinner and to see the very first Scary Movie. It was terrible. She was so awkward and weird (clearly young me hadn’t paid any attention to her personality before asking her out, only her looks). The literal worst date I ever had.
