Thanks for at least acknowledging that he wasn't in form peak form against Francis. However, the mere fact that he finagled his way into almost 3 more months of training for the Usyk fight, and that was after he'd already trained for 3 months after his October fight with Ngannou, in my opinion really does highlight, just how out of shape he really was.

As far as the second part goes.... that's always been the problem with Fury though, throughout his form ebbs and flows to such an extent, that it's hard to truly quantify what his best is or isn't, or if he's capable of reaching those peak forms again. What I do know is, that he's only 35, that's 2 years younger than both Bud and Usyk, both of whom while maybe aren't what they were a few years ago, seem far from done at the top level. Also Heavyweights always have longer primes than your average fighter, because they don't have to worry as much about making weight, and putting their body through all of those stresses and struggles. So while it might seem Fury's time in the sun has passed, that was said about him before the first Wilder match, after the Wallin match, after Chisora, Whyte and Ngannou. The reality is, who knows.... maybe Fury fights for another 10 years, or maybe he gets brutally KO'd next time out and retires. But based on what we saw yesterday, that was far closer to the Fury we saw against Wilder than the version that fought Ngannou. Possibly an even better version. Think about it, in Wilder 2, he came out very fast, busted Wilder's ear early, totally ****ing his equilibrium up, therefore taking away his right hand, because he could no longer sit down on his punches, leaving him with a Wilder that was a wobbly hobbled sitting duck with no balance standing in front of him. So how sharp was that version of Fury? Most fighters do tend to look like a million bucks when they're in the ring with a compromised shell of a fighter. You know... like Bud and Spence.:sisi1

I watched it again, very carefully.

    Usyk: 1, 2, 8, 9+, 10, 11, 12
    Fury: 3, 4, 5, 6, 7

    115 - 112 Usyk.

This looks accurate. Maybe the 12th to Fury but then he still loses which was 114-113 card. Judges were good

You did notice who his trainer was didn't you? He's probably had a Clenshake feeding tube inserted since they reunited back in April.:sisi1

He's ****ing garbage, like I've been saying he was for years. His best win was a green Ajagba. Other than that, PBC fed him an endless line of befuddled inept plodders who couldn't cut off the ring if their life depended on it, by design to flatter him greatly. This was always going to be the outcome the moment he faced someone who cuts the ring off well, with solid whiskers. Agit's pressure is relentless, his skillset profoundly underrated and his chin rock solid. Alongside Usyk, he's literally a nightmare opponent for Frank. He never had even a modicum of a chance at winning this match.

Fair point CST. Wanted to give this a proper read before responding.

I guess we ll never know. But in my opinion while this was still a dangerous Fury this wasn’t a peak Fury. I think his durability definitely dipped.

Regardless Usyks ability to adapt was insane. I thought it was over for Usyk. None of his punches seemed to do anything to Fury from the mid round stretch Fury dominated in and Fury was smashing his body. How he turned that around whether it was a lucky punch or not was insane.

For such a hot bed of amateur boxing you would think Cuba could produce a stand out HW at some point.. they always get found out.. Sanchez, Ortiz, Solis, Ribalta, Gomez, Gonzalez etc.. all fell flat on their arse

I'm not seeing the potential in Kabayel. Like Torres, he is a decent journeyman.

The 10th was the 2nd clearest Usyk round behind the 9th! Wtf? Woodhall is usually more astute than that, must have let his bias get in the way!
