That wasn't the same Joe Cordina who looked sensational in knocking out Ogawa, and rock-solid in beating the teak tough Rakhimov, both of whom are levels above Cacace, who has just battered him.

Cordina in my opinion has been far too focused on thinking he needs the big money fights right now.

He moaned for about two years about Matchroom not putting the money up for him. I get it. He wants to secure his future but if you don't generate big money, how can you expect big money. Should have focused on honing his skills against anyone rather than thinning he's automatically entitled to massive fights now.

 

Cacace has always had allot of talent and ability.

The problem with him is he's pulled out allot with injuries or his opponent has last minute meaning he's been massively inactive.

 

Because he lives in a gym with Benn who has lived on Matchroom investment until a cashout fight; Cordina must think he's entitled to the same having put an amateur career in first too.
