True, but it's almost always a deterioration through a cumulative effect of punches. In that respect, Fury hasn't taken that many punches over the years. Aside from that Wallin cut, how often has Fury looked battered and bruised? He's not been in any fights where he has taken a sustained beating. Zero.

He's been his own sustained beating with his unhealthy lifestyle, I would argue.

Nobody could disagree with that. He lost his legs as early as the comeback. It's a question of what is left and if he has been able to improve other aspects of his boxing to compensate. I just don't buy into the whole Wilder draining him etc. It could be argued that the training camps may have, but I am not privy to those. I just don't think being hit clean once or twice from Wilder is that big of a deal.

The Klitschkos for example lived the life of pro athletes and were able to fight on until late 30s still looking the part.

Fury due to his lifestyle and genetics cannot be too far away from turning into the best version of John Fury.

We may have seen that during the Ngannou fight, but Tyson Fury is one man I would not write off but I fear tonight may be the night when it all comes tumbling down.

Should he win, his legacy is cemented as one of our greats.

That's true but did you notice the bruising round his eyes at the 'Grand Arrival' (he was clearly wearing make up disguise it)

I hope Fury pulls a 'No Mas' that would be hilarious.

Right just watched the pre lims in the garden. Scrap between lowe v the Afghani fella was entertaining enough. That second one though was shocking.

    Ready for the main course.
