I'm really looking forward to this and seeing which fury turns up and which uysk because let's be honest the dubois one wasn't the best and there's a small chance he may be overtrained because of the delay.

As the fight goes uysk normally takes 3/4 rounds to figure out a fighter and when he does its game over as he then pulls away. The one thing fury has alongside his size is he's awkward and you don't know what fury you are facing round to round never mind pre fight. Back against ngannou we saw that Jerky stupid movements again but a lot of people around them say Andy Lee did 80% of the training, I fully expect this fight we see a combination of both that and the holding his feet.

My bet for the fight though would be a mid rounds ko for fury via body punch as uysk moves away from a corner.

Fury is a fluid fighter who can box unlike Chisora & AJ who are big dumb plodding heavyweights with poor gas tanks. Fury is going to mince up Usyk and make him look small and old.

I wouldn't go that far. It should be a cracker especially if both fighters come in at their best. I'm seriously thinking of pricing it and going over.

Get Fury’s nob out your mouth. You’re only praising him because he beat your princess, Wilder.

It was never a 12-0 fight. Wlad won 5 rounds

Loma’s never lost as I’ve explained
previously. Many of Canelo’s fights are fixed you simpleton

A-side Wlad's judges: 8-4/9-3 Fury, Boxrec: 11-1 Fury, Eyeonthering: 10-2 Fury, forum RBR at the time: Fury schooling

    Loma's record: 17 wins, 3 losses

A-side Canelo: 2 losses, schooled by Mayweather and Bivol

Agree with the sentiment. Have always considered Fury to be vastly overrated, based on accomplishments. And when he had the opportunity to actually build momentum and make a believer out of sceptics like me, he took a bunch of cash out fights instead. Let's face it, post Wilder 2 he has been dreadful for the sport.
I've always thought Usyk would be a tough fight. But Fury's recent apparent decline makes the fight much harder for him. I will give full credit to Fury if he wins. But I don't believe he will.
It's not that I don't rate Fury. I actually think he is very good - and has shown flashes of brilliance in the past. But I hate the way he has been anointed King of the division (by some fans and members of the media) when he hasn't proven it by taking on the main threats of his era. And the notion that he is an ATG when his accomplishments quite clearly pail in comparison to the likes of Ali, Lewis etc. It's frustrating because he had the opportunity to really make a good attempt at being an ATG - and he didn't take it. We shouldn't give credit for things which have not happened.

I have gone back and forth on this fight over the last couple of years. I really feel the apex versions of Fury and Usyk make an incredible fight. I think Fury's apex was Wlad or Wilder 2 they sort of embody the peak versions of the 2 different versions of Fury. Fury was the mobile counter puncher who used his size and athleticism to stifle opponents. The new Fury now uses his size to maul and wrestle opponents, retaining some of the boxing skills but not relying or employing them to the degree he used to

Usyk's peak for me was the first Joshua fight, I felt he performed well in the rematch but was less dominant. Some of that could come down to a trainer change and better performance from Joshua but it tempered my feelings with Usyk's capabilities with Fury. Usyk won almost every round vs Dubois minus the low blow/body shot situation but I felt like he under performed vs Dubois. I know that might sound crazy and maybe some of that is in part to the wet canvas but Usyk was not able to rally offensively until later in the fight. The rounds were very tit for tat and Dubois was able to jab and use his reach effectively in the fight for stretches. I feel that this success Dubois had jabbing and limiting Usyk's offensive runs could make this an interesting clash of styles.

Fury's reputation and standing took a massive hit from the Ngannou fight. How much should we take from this fight? Did Fury train for the fight? He claimed he did in the post fight, did not look like it. Fury's weight was heavy but it was the same weight for Wilder III I believe. Fury's two issues in the Ngannou fight were Ngannou's size which took away his clinching game that has been so effective since the Wilder II fight. The other issue seemed to be timing and sharpness. Fury struggled mightily to do more than jab against Ngannou and rarely put a hurting on Francis or rallied with combinations. Did Fury treat this like an exhibition?

My questions heading into the fight:

What do the two fighters weigh? I think Fury should come in lighter than recent appearances to have the gas tank and speed to meet Usyk

How does Usyk handle the wrestling? Fury leaned in on and wore down Wilder in the third fight and used these types of tactics to beat Whyte and Chisora in the third fight. Will Usyk try and gain weight to meet this challenge like Wilder did or does he hope to get broken up and fight in between spurts of clinching? Will he find a way to move and negate the clinching? If he does this will he be able to be effective at a longer range?

Who takes whose punch better? Fury had some deer in the headlight moments vs Wilder and Ngannou, I think Usyk will pierce the guard and do damage in this fight. Fury never seemed like a big puncher until he knocked out Wilder twice and then Whyte with a single shot. Power is neither guy's top attribute but it could be a key piece here

I think all things considered I think Usyk is going to win a close decision

The Gypsy Princess' stress levels were so high due to the prospect of being mercilessly beaten until she prolapsed, that she psychosomatically ruptured her eyebrow.:sisi1

Reminds me of all of those soldiers that would shot themselves in the foot to avoid action on the frontlines.

It would’ve been a boring scrap anyway. Once Fury realized that he couldn’t compete with Usyk’s footwork and output, he would’ve started to jab and hold until the final bell.

I actually think the fight is gonna end up happening, but I couldn't resist that :sisi1
