Oleksandr Usyk’s Team Says Tyson Fury Is Currently “Worth Nothing”

Well, I am reconsidering - he has an iron body, despite being hurt multiple times by body shots from cruisers.

 

Usyk has no obligation to fight anyone in his first few fights at a new weight given that he has spent his career in a lower weight class so if he chooses Witherspoon and Chisora then so be it.
A career heavyweight who is the WBC champion and self proclaimed lineal people’s champion should not then be fighting those same opponents and as champion should have to face challengers who are an actual threat.

Appreciate some people need this explaining to them even though it’s common sense to most.

 

Agreed. He's typical of Usyk's voluntary fights, too.

He was actually one of them.

If Fury chose Chazz, Usyk's optional fights (Chazz and Chisora) and Fury's would be the same.

Maybe Fury will fight Canelo after Usyk does, too.

They can do a Roy Jones-Dariusz tit-for-tat.

 

Oh, but of course, he has no obligation, but to fight one bum, one faded B-level fighter and then pretend for a title shot. So if I say your post is 100% spot on. What does any of that have to do with Fury not wanting to fight Usyk? What? In your eyes usyk is not worthy of a 70/30 split in Fury's favor or share the ring with him?

And that Fury doesn't have 2 back to back fights against decent opponents?

Usyk was the superstar at the CW, yet he wasn't diva about any of his fights there.

Fight consecutive against Glowacki(C), Mchunu, Hunter, Huck, Briedis(C), Gassiev(C), and then Bellew, before moving up.
And he fought them in the exact span of 2 years exactly.

I have to make a wall of text listing Fury ducks and messing around.
Hell he calls 15 opponents just in the last month or so.

 

No need to get worked up over the reluctant heavyweights. Boxing can do without them.
Just look at how many great fights we’ve had these first 6 months, with many more scheduled.
Just leave the overpaid lumberers to squabble like kids, over how much they’re going to make in that sink hole in December and enjoy the banquet of the next few months.

I want this post to be clear, so answer me this, how is that Usyk didn't want to fight Fury, when:

Usyk agred to the Saudi fight early in the year, where Fury ducked the fight, and rejecting a career high payday - 60m., and wanting 120m. according to his PR guru Gareth A. Davis.

And Warren spins it that Saudi didn't wanted the fight, cause they wouldn't have Stadium ready.

Which was the biggest lie ever and was debunked straight away by the Saudi representitive, who firstly already have plenty of ready arenas, but he said they are/can build a stadium in 2 weeks, and that was never a problem.

So what is your objectivity now?

Or when Fury rejected the 50-50 split in UK, or 60-40, or 60-40 for the winner, and demanded 70-30 or no fight?
Or when Usyk accepted, just for your boy start moving the goalposts again?

'It's an easier fight to make instead of Joshua because there are not rival promoters involved. Usyk's people are free agents and that's not a problem.

Should i even mention the rematch clause, that Fury team was bragging about, and how somehow Usyk wanted, a 2 paydays, when the rematch clause comes from team Fury, which Frank himself admitted.

Or should i remember that Fury team wanted 80-20 if Fury was to win, and 50-50 if he was to lose.

Usyk team agreed on the 80-20, but wanted 70-30 in their favor if they was to win.

Usyk team also have said they don't a problem with just 1 match, but with a fair split 50-50.

So tell me exactly, who didn't want the fight, and who did everything to do the fight?

Should i even mention that Usyk was in a camp already and wasted a lot of time and money preparing for the big Fraud, while Fury was exposed by his trainer that he was never in a camp, and he didn't train him at all.

Should i even mention that Warren was exposed badly on that as well, as he LIED, as well as Fury lied, that he was in a camp, and in a great shape.

Personally I feel that belt holders should have to fight highly rated fighters and the best challengers available, you (rather like the WBC) are happy for belt holders to fight anybody they want.

That’s fine, everybody’s different.

 

Like I ever said that, but it is always easier to twist the words... I would also like to see a mandatory number of fights per year, strict principles and rules, especially when someone is holding more than one belt and not stalling the division. But it seems you are happy with that as it is - 22 months and one defence only, having the second on 23 months. So yes, we are different. And by the way, Whyte is a highly rated fighter, it is Chisora that was a very bad choice. But I know - since Fury toyed with his mandatory Whyte, we're now told the latter isn't a good one. But if Usyk has to face his mandatory in the face of Dubois who got whipped by Lerena - hey, Dubois is great, better than anyone Tyson faced. How infantile!

 

Klimas is correct. Fury is worth nothing and should just give up his belt to Usyk so the HW Division can get on with making fights again. For someone with a big mouth Fury is certainly not very convincing of his own delusions.
